  1. Birch is the one that breaks like a wafer cookie. I like balsa wood. It's light so I can swing faster, which makes up for the force otherwise lost on impact. I found this on Yahoo Answers, this may be you...and your real trade-off reason. "Balsa wood bats are cheap, but I wouldn't recommend them. The only good thing about them is, if you strike out (and hopefully that won't happen), you can just snap the bat in two like it's nothing, and crumble it into a million pieces which impresses the chicks. Of course, they'll be less impressed with the fact that you struck out, so it's a trade off."
  2. Lets be real people. Aaron Rodgers disappears, we finally suck, and that list will fizzle so fast.
  3. Then you blame CC for whatever ridiculous gripe he had or Stearns for allowing such to happen. Maybe something happened behind the scenes we don't know about...I doubt it, but possible. They just couldn't figure out how to make Villar excel anymore.

  5. If a guy with a 95 career OPS+ outhits a guy with a 98 career OPS+ over the course of 100-150 plate appearances, no one is to blame. That is just baseball happening. I am referring to the next year too. Then someone is to blame because it seems we went wrong somewhere if that happens. I don't care about the last 100 ABs, that is why I mentioned I think they look a lot more similar after the end of next year to where we don't care that much.
  6. So what? That doesn't matter. It constantly gets brought up as like some kind o free pass if he excels elsewhere. Someone is to blame if he hits similar to Schoop or better. If we traded him because he was in the doghouse that seems to make it even worse if he does better after he leaves. So far this trade has been pretty brutal to look at...I think over the next year it gets closer to a shrug your shoulder wash...but so far, yikes.
  7. It’s ridiculous to assume this game would be 0-0 without that throw. They still had a guy on 3rd with one out.
  8. I think Maddon wanted to force the Brewers to not use Moustakas.
  9. For all the crud Villar got somehow the Brewers haven’t taught Perez to not slide into first...
  10. Big moment in this game. Won’t get many stellar chances like this.
  11. Haha, wow. Unreal...pitching like absolute garbage and does that.
  12. The Brewers will not get a single dollar for hosting...at least nothing notable. Ticket sales go elsewhere etc.
  13. I’ve never been this excited for a game since the NLCS in 2011. This team is finally winning games like they actually could do something in October. I’ve come to the conclusion I am buying a 20 game pack if they win this series.
  14. Domingo Santana is 110% getting arbitration offered. At worst someone would definitely acquire him and take a chance at that salary. We would probably still get something for him.
  15. Tip your cap to these guys for fighting their way back into a full out fight in the division. Felt like a week ago everyone said they were pretty much toast in the division. As in they were unlikely to claw their way back by the end of the season and now not even half way through September they are flirting with taking the lead. Even if they can't take the division at least they have shown they can play the Cubs and compete.
  16. I don't think there is any chance they would keep both Moose and Schoop if given the option. $25mil for them? Ummm, no.
  17. If the Phillies or D Backs catch us the entire coaching staff needs to be fired and I might not log into this site for months. That would take the most ridiculous collapse and hot streak imaginable. I think our magic number so to speak to eliminate those teams from catching us is 10. I mean...I don't even know what I would do. Even the Dodgers are already down to about #12 to be eliminated by us. There is a reason our odds to make the playoffs are 97% and it isn't because of our recent play. Mathematically catching us even in the best of scenarios is hard.
  18. And honestly the only reason to watch the Dodgers is to see if they A can even make the postseason and B how. If they overtake us I probably would stop watching any scoreboard by then. They need wins fast and for us to lose fast. Can’t really afford to stay 4+ back much longer.
  19. Brewers are 9 long outs from what could be an unofficial clinching of a playoff spot. Dodgers have already lost which would give them a 4.5 game gap on the competition. AZ and STL losses would be extra gravy on top of it. That would be quite a gap to have.
  20. While I personally don’t find Dillard that funny I think he would be a pretty stellar guy to do interviews after games.
  21. Haha I didn’t mind Front Row Amy (cause she actually likes baseball so whatever) until she posted a bunch of swimsuit pictures and one in her underwear. Her husband took the pictures and let her post them so he could get off on a bunch of 50+ year old creeps drool over his plastic wife. It’s weird...
