Not to mention his fast ball is sitting at 89-91...not going to work.
  2. MrTPlush
I thought Jungmann threw faster than 90mph.
  3. MrTPlush
Wow Jungmann was gifted there. That was not even close to being a strike. Should have been ball four and bases loaded with one out. Walks him anyway...[sarcasm]looks promising so far.[/sarcasm]
  4. MrTPlush
Yah if that isn't placed perfectly it is an easy batting practice type pitch.
  5. MrTPlush
If he could, why wouldn't they? Because hitting .220 would be an improvement over what we have now. Do you think they would be good for Trent Clark and his development?
  6. MrTPlush
Given their performance, I do. Appreciate the good times...all three of those guys gave a lot to this organization. Always sad to see them leave even if they are awful now.
  7. MrTPlush
I see the players we have gotten rid of in the past 1-2 years have started off the year brutally. Yikes
  8. MrTPlush
I bet Trent Clark could hit better than our CFers have so far...doesn't mean we should promote him. If our MLB ready options are stinking up the joint that is just what we are going to have to watch.

The fact Lucroy is still on this team tells me those proposals are dream hauls. Stearns would be happy if he got two of those guys none the less three. Heck even one of those guys plus complementing pieces would be pretty stellar. Not to mention I don't see where he fits in with Boston. They have internal options that are quite adequate. I doubt they are desperate enough to sell off a piece of the farm for him. He will either end up with the Rangers, Astros, or possibly the Nationals. One of those teams because they actually have black holes at catcher. Gut tells me Rangers because it makes so much sense, but I also see the Astros as a team to really pony up some prospects. Then again not sure if how Gomez is working out for them effects their willingness to deal with the Brewers.

No point to bring up Reed if you can't give him consistent at-bats.
  11. MrTPlush
Hard to quite grasp his 8 OPS+ Hope he can turn it around.
  12. MrTPlush
Brewers have a feasible shot to go .500 this month...that's pretty cool.
  13. MrTPlush
Why don't they already know this? They already have scouting reports on most of these players. They weren't born yesterday. Regardless it is fine. Give them pitches to hit instead.

    Patience=Lots of Pitches=Starter Out Early=Face Crappy Bullpen=Offensive Show=Blow Out

    Oh I like this game...

We can do it! Arcia/Phillips are just prospects lets trade them away for an ace.
  17. MrTPlush
I am way too excited right now with the Brewers scoring 9 runs...
  18. MrTPlush
Carter just went all Rickie Weeks on that ball. Thing barely was off the ground all the way.
  19. MrTPlush
I hope our Arcia has better defense on grounders.
  20. MrTPlush
In other news I am getting sick of this new uniform. Do we ever wear anything else? The blue color is boring and ugly.
  21. MrTPlush
I don't know who this Torres guy is, but I am pretty sure anyone on this board could do better than this joke. Throw a strike man.
  22. MrTPlush
From what I have heard next year is a very very VERY deep draft and players that are borderline 1st rounders or even 2nd rounders should go into this draft. Unless you think you can greatly improve next year waiting is going to do you no good.
  23. MrTPlush
Starting pitcher typically has rights to the uniform choice outside of days that have a specific jersey to be worn. (Retro friday, opening day, these new BiG jerseys, etc.) The retro jersey has had an extended stay in the past before during winning streaks.
