    If he could, why wouldn't they? Because hitting .220 would be an improvement over what we have now. Do you think they would be good for Trent Clark and his development?

    Given their performance, I do. Appreciate the good times...all three of those guys gave a lot to this organization. Always sad to see them leave even if they are awful now.

    I see the players we have gotten rid of in the past 1-2 years have started off the year brutally. Yikes

    I bet Trent Clark could hit better than our CFers have so far...doesn't mean we should promote him. If our MLB ready options are stinking up the joint that is just what we are going to have to watch.

    The fact Lucroy is still on this team tells me those proposals are dream hauls. Stearns would be happy if he got two of those guys none the less three. Heck even one of those guys plus complementing pieces would be pretty stellar. Not to mention I don't see where he fits in with Boston. They have internal options that are quite adequate. I doubt they are desperate enough to sell off a piece of the farm for him. He will either end up with the Rangers, Astros, or possibly the Nationals. One of those teams because they actually have black holes at catcher. Gut tells me Rangers because it makes so much sense, but I also see the Astros as a team to really pony up some prospects. Then again not sure if how Gomez is working out for them effects their willingness to deal with the Brewers.

    No point to bring up Reed if you can't give him consistent at-bats.

    Hard to quite grasp his 8 OPS+ Hope he can turn it around.

    Brewers have a feasible shot to go .500 this month...that's pretty cool.

    Why don't they already know this? They already have scouting reports on most of these players. They weren't born yesterday. Regardless it is fine. Give them pitches to hit instead.

    From what I have heard next year is a very very VERY deep draft and players that are borderline 1st rounders or even 2nd rounders should go into this draft. Unless you think you can greatly improve next year waiting is going to do you no good.

    Starting pitcher typically has rights to the uniform choice outside of days that have a specific jersey to be worn. (Retro friday, opening day, these new BiG jerseys, etc.) The retro jersey has had an extended stay in the past before during winning streaks.
