Simba! What an interview that was totally unexpected. Wow!!! -
All the clips I am bombarded with from the parade are so epic. I wish I could have been there! Weirdly I realized this is the first season besides Covid I didn’t go to a game since I think 83. Too busy trying to make a life. Brewers have always been a bond between Dad and I. Will never forget the summer of 92. even all these years in Alaska I always came back and took him to a game. And he didn’t go this year either for the first time since he got out of Vietnam. Just wild our one championship and we never saw them in person.

So glad Sal had a good series so people could stop dissing the guy. This season was the outlier because he was hurt all year.

I love how they just unabashedly got publicly faced in the aftermath. This is literally the greatest team ever in sports. And they’re ours and we’re theirs.

Plush summed it up great awhile ago. Even with Murphy fatigue nobody in their right mind could not give it to him, basically. And spot on take.

I absolutely wanted them to win it down in the trop but there was a small part of me that thought well if they don’t, I get to watch these guys play at least another home game and win the championship at home. And I’m a little sad for no more games this year 🙂

Yeah and also, I was a kid back then but I could’ve sworn someone had made a Brewers/Yount adaptation of the song. It might have just been a local Madison station, no idea. I’ve tried finding it a few times over the years. Anyone remember that? -
