    Huh maybe I will delete and reinstall the app on my firestick then. I've been a little annoyed by it but the Crow debut calls for action. I realize this is probably the old curmudgeon in me talking, but it seems like when they update an app, half the time it makes it worse instead of better.

    Side question for MLB.tv users: Where is the "start from beginning" option for a game in progress? Or is it just not an option anymore? I haven't found it yet this season, and I'd really like to watch Crow pitch when I get home from work. Thank you in advance.

    On this date last year, the Brewers fell to 8-9. They started Tyler Alexander who gave way to Elvin Rodriguez. Other major Milwaukee stars who started that day were the always potent Isaac Collins and his .573OPS at DH. The two headed monster of Vinny Capra and Ollie Dunn handled 3b duties. Rhys Hoskins and his potent reliable bat at 1b. And yet the Brewers managed to squeak out an above .500 season, somehow. Probably just got lucky, who knows.

    Firstly, thanks for writing this piece. I'm just chiming in to say I wouldn't write off the possibility of Joey getting a 20 HR season or two at some point in his career.

    Ah I'm late to reply. I had to go look it up because my memory was telling me it had happened 3 years in a row, which it technically did not. Oh well.

    I like it, OWBC. Reading between the lines on the 98-64 record, that looks like a WS winner prediction to me. I'm going with 91 regular season wins. This year, I can't even predict a CY or MVP I feel strongly for. There's 3-4 guys I could easily see getting each of these awards, and a few dark horses that wouldn't totally shock me. For grins, I'll go: CY: Les Mis MVP: Turang Surprise: Ortiz Disappointment: Yelich ROY: Yoho

    Agreed. Dad and I go to 1 game per season and we like day games since the folks are in Madison. They have the 1/2 price kids and seniors deal for the day games but with the price gouging they always pull on those days, it is not any cheaper at all. I really miss printed tickets and the scalpers by Helfaer Field. We would always show up and score good seats for well below face, did it for decades.

    The thing I hate about getting bounced early is it that I just kind of check out on the tournament after that happens. My enthusiasm is gone. I'll still watch some games this weekend if I don't have something else to do but I won't make a point of it, and it will be with very mild interest. Screw it.

    High Point is getting away with grabs and hooks on the rebounds so far. Once the stripes start calling that I think Wisconsin runs away with it.

    Here in western AK we've had the coldest winter in the past 30-50 years. Combine that (and the associated ice thickness) with an above average snow load for the area, and May breakup could be an interesting one this year, there's potential for some serious flooding anywhere that ice should happen to jam up. On the positive side, next Tuesday we're forecast to NOT get below zero all day for the first time in I'm not sure when. A couple months or more?
