  1. Sometimes I wonder if it would be better off just throwing Krynzel in the big league fire and see if ha can amount to anything. It doesn't seem like AAA does him anygood anymore. There probably isn't much room for him with the Brewers anymore, but I'd like to see some team let him sink or swim. He was always one of the most intriuging prospects to me.
  2. I Pretty much doubt Sheets will ever be a hitter, even by pitchers standards. I remember him saying he was DH'd for in High School baseball. It might have been one of Ben's jokes though. Even if Yo turns out to be a Dave Bush type, I think that's pretty decent. I, like others, wouldn't be surprised if he(Bush) was the Next Brewer to throw a no-hitter. By the way I'm a pretty big fan of Dave Bush. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif It's pretty exciting to have Inman and Yo in the system, both seem to have a great head on their shoulders regarding pitching. Hopefully, one or both turn out to be as effective as Sheets.
  3. You got that right about the 6 HR's. Considering how young these guys are, and far from physically developed, it's simply amazing!
  4. Holy Moley! How often does that happen? 9 pitch 3K inning.
  5. I couldn't stop laughing at that. I think we found the only one who uses "you know" more than Rickie Weeks. Not picking on the guy, he probably isnt use to giving many TV interviews. Edit: Forgot to add congrats to the young man! #1 of many to come.
  6. Falls on mine and my cousin's b-day party again. I'll stumble around the parking lot looking for you again. Hopefully, I'll have better luck this time. What historic event will take place on this year's fanfest? Don't you have a string going?
  7. Yeah Carlos Villanueva! I see he was an undrafted free agent...I like it!
  8. I wish I didn't play Volleyball on thursday nights. I'd love to watch this!
  9. I had my phone on my cousin's name once turnbow came in. I talked him thru the last out! Way to go team. I am so proud. Not many gave us a chance to do this before the season started. Finish this off on a high note!
  10. I like the Line-up tonight. Rickie has been struggling. Cirillo's in. I think Yost will be going for the throat tonight!
  11. As long as the game isn't blacked out my cousin, who doesn't have high speed either, just hits pause to let it buffer up during commercials. It works for him.
  12. How bad do you think the Pirates are going to want to keep themselves from being the only team with 13 losing seasons. I think both teams are going to be going hard. I hope we do some good damage against the Reds. Regardless I'm very proud to call myself a Brewer fan. It's fun watching a team that has a payroll handicap work it's way back up. Go get 'em boys!
  13. Alll I have to say is good for Bill Hall showing his potential. He's in his 3rd season I believe already. It takes time for guys to get there sometimes. JJ is already showing great signs from the May 23rd date that Casey points out in His rookie season. I'm not down on Hall at all. I believe he has a lot of value to the team, but I think as others mention players need to take their lumps at some point. Would JJ be where he's at now if he started in AAA? I don't know. Rickie destroyed AAA, but now takes some lumps at the big leagues. I think for JJ's gain and the team's future gain they did everything exactly right. I don't think Having Hall over Hardy at SS would have won that many more games for the team. Maybe at the end of the year it's a difference of a winning season or not(couple of games), but definitely not enough where we would be purchasing playoff tickets. Along the way we have JJ getting up to speed with minimal loss.
  14. Jenkins isn't "California Love" anymore. I don't know the title of his current song. It's more modern though. I think it should be "Califonia Dreaming" who were the clowns last night that couldn't get that for name that tune?
  15. I hope Lidge isn't available today.
  16. Sorry guy. I think I jkinxed this one by recalling Obie gem in Houston last year! When I looked at the line ups I thought how does Biggio have that many HR's, and then he hit one. I also had a good feeling about tonight's game. My bad!
  17. What did Obermueller do to the 'stos at the end of last season. Something like a 2 hit shutout? Do it again Obie!
  18. Thanks, I have listened to many minor league games this year thanks to you. I probably wouldn't have known it was possible without the links!
  19. Would any one other than Jason Lane hit a HR against us?
  20. I say let vic go until his spot in the order is due
  21. Geoff, I want to root for you! I really do!
  22. I think whoever is running the FSN scoreboard at the top of the screen is drunk. I've noticed so many errors tonight.
  23. yay, the other pitcher is melting down too!
  24. crap, not the pitchers duel I was hoping for, and the wrong guy is melting down.
