  1. Nationals also land the LHRP Roenis Elias from Seattle... https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/07/nationals-working-to-acquire-roenis-elias.html
  2. Hudson off the board.. Has been dealt to the Washington Nationals https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/07/nationals-to-acquire-daniel-hudson.html
  3. There have been plenty of strange moves already. Always a chance that Cinci deals for Minor before the deadline..
  4. On top of that, I believe the Indians also have reduced their payroll for this season by a little over $3M. Perhaps they can use that savings for another move to deepen the bullpen on Weds...
  5. The trade with Cinci/ Clev just opened 3 spots on the SD 40 man roster.. I have to believe their upcoming roster crunch/ decisions played a role in this trade..
  6. No other hint. Just that Bauer is now into the NL Central and Trammell is out of the division..
  7. Was just sharing what I was hearing/ learning... Didn't know if it would directly involve or impact the Brewers until earlier tonight.
  8. Still waiting to learn all the parts of the deal... https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/07/reds-to-acquire-trevor-bauer-in-3-team-deal.html#comments Reserving judgement until that is known (10:12 EST 7/30/19) Edit (at 10:53 EST) WOW! Seeing 4 players to the Tribe is surprising for Bauer only is stunning. I wouldn't be surprised is another player (like Sam Hentges LHSP) is heading toward SD..
  9. I think they & the Mets are baffling everyone.. I haven't seen anymore on what the Reds or Padres putting into the RUMORED 3 team trade but I have to think there is something of significance heading (either package or single player) back to Cleveland to part ways with Bauer..
  10. The RUMOR in Cleveland right now is that Bauer gets dealt as part of a 3 team deal. Padres & Reds are other teams involved with Bauer ending up in Cincy. Right now its a matter of the medical clearing.. There is word that part of the trade attraction is Bauer with Cincy pitching coach (DJ). Those 2 have history together thru the Tx Baseball Ranch.
  11. FYI - Corey Kluber continuing to progress. Had another bullpen session today (Tuesday) with breaking pitches thrown. All has gone well. Tribe plans for him to toss a sim game against Tribe minor league players on Saturday and if that goes well, Kluber heads out on a rehab stint. That puts him on track for a mid to late August return.. Add that to the Salazar return to action (along with Jefry Rodriguez tossing again) & the chance the Tribe deals away Bauer continues to increase IF the Tribe asking price is met by a team... These will be some interesting hours leading up to the Weds. trade deadline....
  12. And now we get to see which Danny appears on the mound on 8/1/19: The good Danny (Salazar) or the bad Danny (Salad Bar)..
  13. Sorry, I should have been more specific. I did Feliciano to Padres as well as the Mets giving up LHP David Peterson. LOL Well, at least we both found a way to make it work ...
  14. Your suggesting the Crew deals away 2 players (Grisham and Freddy Peralta) but gets 2 back in Yates and Wheeler.. Does that even get close on Baseball Trade Values trade evaluator?? You have to add in another decent prospect going from the Brewers to the Padres on the site (i.e. Mario Feliciano), but I also think they have Grisham undervalued a bit from what the industry might actually value him at currently. With the report today that the Padres are interested in Grisham specifically, I don't think it's a huge stretch that the Brewers could get a better value in return than what the BTV site suggests. I get what you mean (the BTV is not gospel, teams have their own evaluations). Still it is nice to get it close to where a 3rd party site can agree or disagree on how close it actually is. Taking you premise, I could not get the original or modified (with Mario F) to work. I was able to get it to be accepted when the Brewers added in Dubon (to the Padres) and the Mets added Kilome (to the Padres)..

  16. There are no more waiver trades....
  17. Some day???? This is not a defense of Trevor. He is definitely an odd duck....
  18. To the Rays.. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/07/rays-to-acquire-eric-sogard.html

  20. I realize he just went on the IL but perhaps Yandy Diaz might be a target that could help starting early August and beyond this season... Edit: Packaged with one of F Peralta or C Burnes & the BTV simulator thinks a deal gets done...
  21. Injured Tribe pitcher update: Corey Kluber with his 2nd bullpen outing on Sunday 7/21. Cookie Carrasco with his 1st bullpen outing since the illness announcement on Sunday 7/21. Danny Salazar with his 5th rehab start (this time for AAA Columbus in Buffalo) on Sunday 7/21. Salazar's pitching line for the game: 3.1 IP, 3 hits, no runs, 1 walk allowed, 6 strikeouts recorded (64 pitches, 46 for strikes). 14 batters faced.
  22. Your talking 60.7 in value for those 2 guys. Heck, Bauer alone is 39.2 so its going to be an impressive package of players to get those 2 pieces from the Mets.. I was finally able to craft an accepted trade for Diaz & Lugo at Baseball Trade Values.. 7 player deal. It took all 5 of C Burnes, F Peralta, Ashby, Lutz & Turang
  23. Another message board poster noted the freefall of the Tribe teams over the past 2 weeks so I expanded breakdown to include all teams currently in the top 10, bottom 5 & other teams in the AL & NL Central not already listed.. 25. Part of the intrigue with Merrifield is the ability to rotate/ play thru all 3 OF spots this season before replacing Kipnis next season. Playing with the Baseball Trade Values site I tried to figure out a trade package for Bauer (39.2). I got it close with a package of Dubon (5.8), Turang (14.1), Lutz (16.5) & Ashby (2.6) for a total of 39.0 That might give the Tribe enough ammo to land Merrfield..
