    Except does Atlanta even need Charlie V? They already have Marvin Williams, Shelden Williams and Josh Smith. I see Atlanta taking Conley with a bit of a reach or trading down a few spots for a decent point guard.

    Bucksman, Sheets has looked pretty good. His curve is working and he's mixing in some nice two-seamers. Just a couple bad pitches to some pretty good hitters. The offense (and Randy Wolf) has been the problem tonight, not Sheets.

    So here's a question... Say Sheets throws a perfect game from here on out. Would he get credit for a perfect game with Fielder's error in foul territory? He allowed no baserunners, but there was an error. My guess is he would, but I'm not sure.

    Good point, I hadn't thought about the East-West balance. Oh well. Just thinking a little, I'd like to get Conley, Brewer or even Jianlian in a boom or bust. Too bad Horford will be out of reach.

    So much for conspiracies. Kind of funny that Memphis, Boston and Milwaukee all fell as far as they could. Bucks will still get someone good, just not a franchise player. Eh, oh well.

    Brett I'm with you about Thornton. He carried FSU and was the only reason they weren't in the ACC cellar.

    I don't really think he was blaming Gwynn for being a corner outfielder, moreso management for playing him there. The only positions his bat plays is in center, second or maybe short. Gwynn's a center fielder by design, but there isn't really room for one.

    Man Jenkins owns this guy. I fully endorse Rluz's lineup. And Hawing, that is an awesome avatar.

    That's true, so I guess I semi-take it back. I just don't like shoot-first point guards, and so many times he was a reason that Bogut wasn't getting more touches.

    Another name to throw out if they get a lower pick (4-6) is Mike Conley. Mo Williams is a free agent, and I don't like him at the point anyways. You could pencil in Conley at the point for the forseeable future. I love Conley's game.

    I'd replace Vargas before Bush at this point, but I wouldn't replace either of them yet.

    I'd be thrilled to get either one. I don't really think it matters, because even if one doesn't pan out it's not like people can argue that they both were not expected to be great. But no, I would not let Bogut's presence stop me from taking Oden. If they don't get in the top two, I'd like to see them take Horford or Brewer.

    Dear Brewers: Please forgive me for giving Jeff Cirillo a standing O after his home run last night. I feel I can justify it for a few reasons: 1. The game was out of hand at the time. 2. Jeff Cirillo is one of my favorite Brewers of all time. 3. You should have brought him back this season. 4. I was kind of drunk. Also, please start Gabe Gross again. Don't let Mench see the field against the righty. And if Corey Hart is indeed healthy, stop screwing with him. Eternally Yours, Steve
