  1. There isn't one everyday player on this team that I would be sad not to see on the team next season. We really don't have even one good hitter on this team. The only value that Yelich has is his ability to draw walks which is pretty remarkable considering he has virtually no power.
  2. Its probably time to trade Burnes and Woodruff in the offseason while they still have tremendous value. Its obvious by now that the team refuses to address the offensive shortcomings so its time for yet another rebuild.
  3. With all the games against the other teams in the division 1/3 of our schedule is against Pittsburgh, Cincinatti , and the scrubs and we will be lucky to finish over .500 for the season.
  4. This team has not been fun to watch in months. We had the pitching and just refused to address an offense that we all knew was not nearly good enough and this is what we get.
  5. I know I was called a conspiracy theorist for saying it earlier but Counsell has looked disinterested all year and I expect him to walk away after the season and take some nonsense front office role.
  6. Come on they went over budget to bring in McCutchen and if thats not a commitment to winning what is.
  7. Devin is not sharp at all but hopefully he gets out of it.
  8. Whatever way you want to spin it this lineup needs more production and can't afford to have Hiura on the bench while multiple players with an OBP under .300 play.
  9. I can say that this lineup has been terrible especially lately and Hiura should be playing without a doubt.
  10. He's our best hitter and should play everyday. Neither McCutchen or Tellez are good enough to keep Keston out of the lineup.
  11. I'd be lying if I said I trusted Bush but this is a big opportunity for him.
  12. Hiura should start every day the rest of the season and if McCutchen and Tellez don't like it too bad.
  13. Now finish this game off and lets go on a run.
  14. Counsell is just trying to get the season over with so he can retire as he clearly has lost his fire.
  15. If Hiura can't crack this lineup just let the guy go to a team that will use him. I'm sure we can get another middle reliever which we never seem to have enough of in return for our best hitter.
  16. What a waste of the best rotation in team history by doing nothing to improve a terrible lineup.
  17. One cheap ground ball single and nothing else since the first inning.
  18. I think Counsell has checked out and I expect him to retire after the season and take a ceremonial front office position.
  19. They are really stupid if they don't believe that Hiura should be in this lineup every day.
  20. I can already tell you the big move of the offseason for the lineup will be bringing McCutchen back on another one year deal. When you consider he plays everyday hitting 3rd or 4th I'd be very surprised if we don't bring him back and trade Hiura for another middle reliever which we never seem to have enough of.
