I think they said it was just for a couple of weeks. Either way it was stupid and didn't help the pitching staff.

I love he consistency of taking called third strikes right down the middle.

At some point, the results matter regardless.

The roster is bargain shopping at the land of misfit toys. Washed up cast offs, bottom of the barrel retreads and AAAA never were's. All while the supposed stars are not performing. This team had a lot of "ifs" that needed to go right and most did not, particularly health. The only hope is that this might be one of the worst divisions in the game. I don't for a second buy the Pirates but someone is going to win this thing. They haven't been good for several weeks and no, a good series against the Royals proves nothing.

Just way too many non-competitive at bats leading to non-competitive innings ending in non-competitive games.

The Cardinals spiral is far more stunning than any depth Yelich can reach at this point. -

The bigger issue is that this stuff is tolerated. Almost every time reliever comes into games refusing to throw strikes. Half the lineup has zero plan when they walk to the plate, swinging at everything and anything. Hitters aren't running things out, The team is defensively loose in the infield. This team needs a shake up and I hate to say it but maybe CC is that shake up
