Not sure how that would work, they're both receivers. This is the post you should've saved your "ewwwww" for 82brewcrew82. Never dreamed it would go there.
Big difference between being 26 and 22 as well. There will be growing pains with Peralta and I'm sure Woodruff as well. No doubt. Like I said, I have high hopes for Peralta but I don't think he is there yet and the difference is stark in my opinion.
It’s obvious to see the intensity on Woodruff’s face. Last year he really learned how to attack hitters. Love his arsenal. Agreed. Something has clicked with him mentally fur sure.
Woodruff is a little inconsistent tonight but I don't know how you watch him and Peralta and not see that Woodruff is miles ahead in both stuff and poise. I don't say that as someone who thinks Peralta sucks.
Over his last 8.1 innings pitched on a professional mound Andrew Miller has given up 13 hits, 6 walks, and 7 ER (and an OPS north of .900). A minuscule sample size obviously, but also far from invincible. Make that 14 hits and 8 earned runs. Unhittable.
Well, he's obviously not on the same level as one of the games best players, I'm just saying you have to pick and choose where you're going to invest your resources. They likely didn't look at 1B as a position that they needed to upgrade. I'd have made the trade and signed the extension for Goldy 100 times out of 100. Not even a question. Imagine him and Yelich hitting back to back.
