Not a good send for Travis with his bad foot. The guy is playing through it and running to home like that was dumb but he did what his third base coach wanted him to do. I just hope it didn't make his foot injury worse. Good time for a day off today for Travis.

Great weekend and series win against the formidable Dodgers in LA. Pitching was very good and am very impressed with Hader specifically. Davies just might be a 20 game winner this year!
-
The Dodgers hadn't lost a series since June.
-
Jimmy gets his elusive 10th win. He deserves it today. Knebel for the save. Shaw with that play in the ninth. Great game.
-
Got it! Two of three from the Dodgers. Who knew!
-
It's Knebel time.
-
But Santana did get two hits thankfully.
-
Now Santana caught stealing. He's not having a great game. That ends the inning.
-
No kudos for the Brewer's second baseman I suppose.
-
What did that LA announcer say to that?
-
Sogard again! Another nice play.
-
Jimmy doing his part with a hit. Now bring him in!
-
Agreed. It shouldnt matter that he didnt "touch" the ball, that was absolutemy a play that should have been made. Yup. Or let Sogard take it.
-
it's cute that you think Phillips will see the field over Broxton or Santana. Hell, he probably won't even be ahead of Perez. "Cute" you say. I was posting out of frustration.
-
Phillips should be up for September. In the meantime ...
-
Things not going well for Jimmy right now. Now Santana screws up out there. Darn! The outfield is letting this game get out of hand.
-
Broxton needs to hit a homer to make up for that!
-
Then Broxton gets the error. One giveth, the other takes away.
-
Sogard! What a play.
-
The kids from Texas lost the Little World Series to Japan. It would have been nice to go back home a winner in light of what that state has been going through the last couple of days.
-
3-0 Milwaukee. I'll take it.
-
Seder shouldn't have sent Shaw with his foot problem there.
-
Which means we will sweep that series...Watch and see! If you're right we'll all be very happy!
-
Lose 2 out of 3 to SF. Now on to the best team in baseball.
-
Vogt! There is life yet 4-2 now.
