    I think it's just a case of the late game inadequacies being magnified because UW has lost only a handful of games over the past few years, many of them being close. Off the top of my head, some other clutch late game performances from the past couple of years come to mind: BTT semis against MSU, finishing off Michigan in an otherwise sloppy game last year, and Kammron Taylor on Senior Day. Digging a bit further back, Taylor's buzzer-beater against UNC-Wilmington was pretty memorable for me as well. While I wouldn't go as far as to call it a strength, the Badgers have executed enough times for me not be terribly concerned with the way this one ended.

    I'm not even convinced he's British. Sounds to me like an awful attempt at an English accent. Only made it through about the first 45 seconds or so, but is this promotional clip meant to draw people to the city, or keep them away? Couldn't really tell.

    I have a Curve for work, but wouldn't think to buy it for personal use. Not a huge fan of the interface. Haven't seen the new touch-screen one in action though, which I understand caters more toward the non-business user.

    1.82 and top of the leaderboard, and that was after a devastating 7.0 on 'Convergence' in the 3rd round. I ought to give this a try using a regular mouse..

    "4 year graduation" is such an old fashioned way of thinking. It's implied by some degree programs that the undergrad requirements will take more than four years to complete. Taking 4+ years is not necessarily a sign of laziness or lack of dedication. Individual circumstances dictate how long it takes to complete the degree. I happened to complete my UW degree in less than four years, but I don't think that makes me any more qualified as someone who did in 4, 5, or 8 years.

    Correct. The woman on the left can pinpoint the exact location of any cell phone in the greater LA area..somehow. The man on the right died tragically/unintentionally comically in a toxic gas attack.

    Those nights when I couldn't tune in, I would have a pretty good idea of how the game went simply by paying attention to Uecker's voice inflection when he did his "Hank, Hardware Hank" line. Always seemed to have more pep in his voice for that line after a good win.

    Oh dont worry, I woke up and signed onto the internet and my homepage (MSN.com) proudly displayed all the results from the overnight at the top of the page in huge letter and pictures. Talk about blowing the suspense. Did NBC not have live coverage of the race? Not going to say anything specific to avoid spoiling it for somebody, but I'm certainly pleased to have been able to witness it on live TV.

    I think there are fundamental differences between David Beckham and Lebron James. Beckham is in the twilight of his career. While not over the hill by any means, his prime is in the past. In his prime, he was "merely" a great player. Lebron on the other hand, would be at his best in 2010. Not only is he a great player, by the time he is done he will be in the 'among the best to ever play the game' discussion.

    I donate my fair share a year to charity...this would be going to "my brewers love" charity. Frankly, I think it's high and mighty of you to assume that I as well as others don't donate to charity. Get off your high horse and enjoy baseball. That's what I'm trying to do. I don't think anybody was assuming that you don't donate to charity, but merely suggesting that it would be better to put an additional $25 toward that cause instead of one that is against baseball rules.

    The USA-China game felt like a 1v16 or 2v15 game in an NCAA tournament. Underdog team starts out on fire from 3 point range, keeping it close for the first couple of mins. It then quickly gets out of hand and you end up with the type of result that everybody expected.

    CC - My initials Brew - Short for the baseball team that I have taken a liking to. Lame! Although it does allow me to claim that I saw the Sabathia deal coming several years ago.
