  1. lol what? Maybe I watched the wrong replay, wasn't it just short of the wall in right by the picnic area? Yes it was, but I think he’s commenting on your premise.
  2. Would’ve been cool if one of you couch managers, just one, could have said something about bringing JBJ in before Garcia’s miscue last night. All this 20/20 hindsight is silly on what was a ball that should have been caught anyway. It hung up forever. It wasn’t a play that required a gold glover. It was a colossal mess up by a guy who has been solid in the field. The play he made on Yaz’ liner in the same inning was really good.
  3. 13-5 since the ASB, and three of the losses are to teams they won’t have to face in the playoffs.
  4. Sorry to hear that, hope you’re feeling alright. Hope all is getting better… Thanks. My wife is a lot sicker, but she is coming around. I find the taste and smell thing so weird. I’ll be making food, adding ingredients for flavor, and I’ll think, “what’s the point?” I’m sitting at my fire pit right now. Can’t smell the fire at all.
  5. Which makes the ten days more like 12-13 days, if they have to isolate. I’m sure the pitchers will need some time as well. I’ve got covid now, and I was told I wasn’t allowed to exercise. Some tough days a-coming’ for the Brewers
  6. I haven’t even seen any announcement yet saying he’s been cleared to play. Maybe a hunch since he's been on the COVID IL for 10 days and was previously vaccinated... but I suspect him to be back very soon. He might need a day or two to get up to speed. My understanding is that he has been chilling at home, not allowed at the team facilities, so even if cleared, I would understand if they didn't activate for a day or two.
  7. Brewers are 13-8 in Woodruff starts. I think it was pretty obvious he was wishing for better W/L luck for Woodruff, as great as he has been.
  8. The Pirates are doing a masterful job of breaking the Reds for good. Once Pittsburgh comes back from being down 7-0, Cincinnati will be done.
  9. That's what happens when you don't practice with the same four guys. You’d think they’d learn after struggling in this event for years. I remember watching the Rio coverage and listening to the broadcasters call out the lack of exchanges practices. Not sure what was more painful to watch, the US exchanges or the interview with the team after the race. Agree with the above that the process in picking and practicing the team needs to change.
  10. My hope for the next CBA is a path for players to get to their money sooner so that there can be some more middle ground in salaries.
  11. Is a strike or lockout a foregone conclusion? I sure think so.
  12. Pirates are in last place, how can I hate so many of them? Reynolds, Gamel, Newman, Moran to name a few
  13. I see three at Camden inApril.
  14. I have no memory of Vinnie Rottino as a Brewer. Edit: Just looked him up. 18 games and 25 PA over three years. I don’t feel so bad.
