Ads changed for me too in the last day or so. I get an ad when I change forums or refresh a page. I keep getting ads for bicycle pumps they call enlargers... Must be where those fat bike tires come from -
Pretty quiet thread. Not enough bad things happening for some folks, I guess.

Gross. Flipped over to the Mets-Reds game in time to hear Mets announcer call Javy Baez “the highest impact defensive player in the major leagues.” What the hell does that even mean?

Been two weeks or so since my mobile Bally’s app has worked. I want to watch the game on my phone and build a fire outside. Perfect night for a fire in the pit.

Another defense matters moment. 1-0 Brewers.

I was at that 2-1 game, and it was brutal. I think there five backward ks in that game. Lifeless. I went to four games in April, May, and June and the Brewers scored a total of two runs. There was good reason to despair if you were a Brewer fan. It makes games like last night even more enjoyable.

I’d rather see Escobar grab an outfielder glove at this point.

Freeman bunting? I’ll take it.

Pederson got some Douchey-ness from his Cub days.

Relief pitchers who walk the lead off guy are so irritating

Nice defense. Escobar looked good.
-
I’d like to point out it was 4-0 when I posted this. I get a cookie.

Do you know what they are in Atlanta? My perception/ recollection is that the Brewers have lost a lot more series than they have won there over the last 10 years or so. Identical 1-2 records the last three years, 3-0 sweep in 2016.

I don’t think they are necessarily wrong. Where would you rank their offense against other likely playoff teams? I am a really big fan of this team, but the offense is okay, far from elite.
-
Yes, I was thinking we would have Escobar in left tonight. Thought he might replace Bradley.
