  1. Wow, that's asking a lot for a guy coming off the DL to start an entire double header. Especially a guy with raptor arms.
  2. Because it's baseball? It's not just baseball. Their hits are not ones that are just out of the reach of our infielders. The Marlins are literally hitting them where thay aint, whereas their fielders barely have to move to field our grounders.
  3. Wait a minute. So we're all off the "Kratz for All Star Game" train? Because that's all I heard a month ago.
  4. How is it that the Marlins are finding the holes in our infield but we're hitting balls right to them?
  5. Are people seriously now advocating for bringing back Arcia? How soon they forget that he is an automatic out.
  6. I forgot about Juan Nieves being the Marlins pitching coach. How many times will we hear about how he's the only Brewers pitcher to throw a no hitter?
  7. I was late for the game lastnight and I was going to ask what the ovation for Yelich was like but then I realized there was nobody in the park to give an ovation.
  8. Said this from the moment Knebel got the 'closer' role back. This team did so well managing the bullpen situationally in late innings when Knebel was out. Why they would go back to defined roles like that is baffling. 17 games over .500 is proof that the current bullpen usage is working. I'm not saying you're wrong, but is 17 games over .500 proof the offense is just fine? I just don't like the best record argument to defend weaknessses on this team. Best record in the NL or not, this is a flawed baseball team. Nobody can deny this.
  9. As long as we don't give up Hiura in the trade, Machado has to come to Milwaukee. This offense will be the early death of them in the playoffs, assuming they make the playoffs.
  10. I posted it and I never said they would be blowouts. I said it could very well happen. Don't misquote me like that. This isn't the first time this year that Hader sat too long in the pen and gave up runs when he finally saw some action. It's ok to use him for one lousy inning. I just don't like the way CC uses him. Why must he always pitch multiple innings? Then he sits mulitiple days and then when he finally is available he doesn't get in for a couple more games anyway because the situation doesn't dictate it. If that's the way Hader is going to be used you might as well convert him into a starter. Otherwise I would rather see him as a one inning guy who only needs one day of rest, if that, and get more appearences out of him than pitching him 2-3 innings and being unavailable for 2-3 games. Well, he is an all star. Because he was getting regular work when he was putting up those all star numbers.

  12. Can't be CC's fault. He's the manager of the team with the best record in the NL.
  13. It's as if leaving Hader in the pen to rust for five days would have a negative effect.
  14. No he isn’t. Brewer fans don’t vote like they used to back in 2011 or so when we actually voted guys in. Cain was one of the best players in baseball befor ehis long injury stint and was nowhere near a spot. We used to have all our players (even terrible players) in the vote rankings. He is far from a lock. I’d actually say he would get nowhere near winning it in all likelihood. Wow, just wow.
