  1. Even if Aguilar somehow isn't named to the ASG tonight, he's a lock to win the last man in vote.
  2. I still want to see Hader. He needs at least a little work to stay sharp and it's very possible he won't see any action in Miami if the Brewers clobber the Marlins like they should.
  3. Wait, you can score again? I don't buy it. I need some proof. If it's possible, why haven't the Brewers done it yet today? Ask and you shall receive.
  4. Scoring 5 runs in an inning is great and all but it would be really nice of them if they could also, you know, score again.
  5. Hader can only pitch when we're up 1 to 3 runs except on the second Friday of a month with a Y in it, then it's 2 to 4 runs unless there was a full moon that week in which case it's the second Tuesday of the month wherein it's back to 1-3 run lead unless that Tueday they had spaghetti as the team meal in which it's only a two run lead unless one of those runs were scored on an unearned run in the fifth inning.
  6. Geez, is there anyone who asks for more challenges than the Braves? They even ask for them before the call is even made.

  9. Because call ups making a spot start have never had good outings, right? How many times over the years have we faced pitchers making their MLB debut and absolutely shut us down? Quite a bit, and those were years where we actually had pretty good offenses. You just never know.
  10. Yes. By that logic CC has been the perfect manager this year and has not made one mistake. No need to make adjustments. Well he would probably win manager of the year if the season ended today. I'm not even sure about that. This team has been overlooked all year that will probably only get one guy in the All Star Game despite having the best record in the NL.

  12. Sophia asking him about that now. Just once I'd like to hear someone answer "Yeah, the umpire got it wrong. We got lucky on that call."
  13. If you're any type of competitor you always want in the game. CC needs to rethink his usage of him. They have enough depth in the bullpen that he doesn't need to always pitch more than one inning per game. The more available he is, the better off the team is. PinaMadness I'm not picking on you, just letting folks know that last time Hader pitched more than 1 inning before his 3 inning stint was June 11 when he pitched 1.2 innings. He had 6 straight appearances of 1 or fewer innings. I had thought CC had decided to limit his multi inning appearances for a while there. You have to go back to May 25 for his last 2 inning appearance. Well, it does seem that way. Probably because we don't see him often enough to think otherwise. Having huge leads or huge deficits haven't helped either. Sometimes you just have to use him in spots you wouldn't normally use him in just to keep him sharp.
  14. Swanson was calling for the replay before the umpire even made the call. BREWERS WIN!!!
  15. I hope not. We need Hader to be available more than once every four games. It really wasn't necessary to use him for three innings against the Twins when he's more valuable to have available for the Braves.
