  1. If you're any type of competitor you always want in the game. CC needs to rethink his usage of him. They have enough depth in the bullpen that he doesn't need to always pitch more than one inning per game. The more available he is, the better off the team is.
  2. Agree. Is it a rule that Hader should have to pitch at least two innings every appearance? I'd much rather see him pitch one inning and be availale more often than have him go two innings and say goodbye to him for the next two days.
  3. I guess I'm the only one who thought putting in Barnes to begin with ws a mistake. Atlant's too good of a hitting team to trust a lead to your maybe 4th best reliever when your three best relievers are fresh and availaable to set you up for a sereis tying win at least.
  4. JJ in the 7th, Hader in the 8th, Knebel in the 9th. All fresh arms. You don't have to be Casey Stengel to figure that out.
  5. Wat to go, CC. Got cute with your bullpen management and now we'll most likely lose the lead. These errors aren't helping either. Another implosion inning.
  6. I'm sorry but Barnes just can't be trusted even with a four run lead. Did CC put him in there because it's still not set up for a save situation? Because if so it's stupid logic. And now another Shaw mishandle of a ball. I hope we still have the lead after this inning.
  7. Those estimates always seem hilariously bad. It's 400 alone to dead center. Consider it's 60 feet from home to the mound, does anyone seriously believe from where that ball hit that it does not at least continue past the fence the distance from home to the mound if unimpeded, which would mean at least 460 feet? Those measurements are a joke. The 60' 6'' from the mound to home plate is only six inches longer than the distance of a bowling alley. Yes, these distances are laughably underestimated.
  8. 433 feet seems underestimated. Do they just measure to where the ball hits? I think they should just use mathematics to determine where the ball would've hit the ground and measure from there. In reality that's closer to 500.
  9. I don't know why we would expect the national media to talk the Brewers up when some of us ourselves are expecting them to fall off eventually.
  10. Looks like another short night for Foltynewicz tonight, but not because he's walking guys.
  11. This is one of those games where we will have to hit home runs to score/win. Missed two opportunities right there.
  12. It's easy to forget that Peralta is still a green rookie because of the couple gems he's had. This is probably the Peralta we're going to see more often than not. Somebody who will struggle with his command at times. You can't throw one hit shutouts every time.
