    Really slow getting to the LOS on offense. LaFleur harped on them about breaking the huddle earlier, but they are taking that play clock down to 0 several times tonight, and just burned a TO because of it.

    I'm enjoying the defensive line collapsing the pocket. This is something we haven't seen for awhile.

    He gave up 2 runs in 4 innings. Since then they've given up 7 runs in 2 innings. Yeah boooo Anderson. Yeah, he was kinda ok in a short start. It would have been better if he could have gone longer. Where's the argument?

    Brewers needed Ace Chanderson tonight ... not Kinda Okderson. His short start left Counsell surfing the pen for too much of the game, and it has burned them again.

    Sorry ... I guess I was misinterpreting your posts then. My bad. I agree with what you say here completely. No it's not your bad. Sometimes I let my frustration seep through for an overly negative tone, I acknowledge this and I need to do better at that. At the end of the day I'm sure we'd all love a September like last year, sure would be nice to start this series with a come from behind win today. That's one hell of a retort. This place could use a little more of that humility at times. I think we're all guilty of thinking this way. Hell, I made an IGT post last month alluding to the idea that offense had given up on the season, and was rightfully called out on it. We can all do better.

    It's a tough D, at least that line works now. And week 1. If we're doing this against the Washingtons and the Detroits of the league in week 9 I'll have a problem. Expected him to struggle tonight but they will need something out of Aaron Jones this year to stop this crap. Lafeur's offense was sold as a lot of motion and quick hits. Haven't seen much of it yet. But you are right, it is extremely early.

    Defense looking very solid so far playing is short fields. Clark is a stud. He's just gotten better and better each year.

    You've been saying they are done for more than two weeks. Can't really be a fence sitter anymore. What's your point? They're no closer than they were 2 weeks ago. I don't think they are going to make the playoffs, no. I think every simulator available would agree on that. But I was on record that winning 3 of 4 against the Cubs would at least give them a chance. So what was wrong with what I said? I guess I'm just wondering what it accomplishes? You've made your stance that this team isn't making the playoffs plainly clear over the last few weeks. Are you trying to get those with more hope than that to agree? Otherwise I don't see the point. I mean, if you've given up, give up.
