  1. That was really classy of the Brewers to wait until he reached 10 years...
  2. I have been saying this to anyone who will listen. It was interesting, when they were playing the Cubs I had to listen to the Cubs feed and their announcers said the same thing.
  3. I don't like Yelich in the three whole either, but with Adames and Renfroe out, who do you put there???
  4. I was getting ready to turn this off but now we just need a field goal to tie!!!
  5. I'm watching on tv. Anybody know how the crowd is at the stadium today? I'm guessing pretty sparse since it started at a weird time and is only one game in the middle of a road trip.
  6. I didn't like the way our pitchers threw in spring training and it seems to be a carry over for Woody!
  7. Johnny Davis did not have a good night but he was absolutely beaten up by OSU. I was at the game and I was amazed at some of the fouls that didn't get called when he was making cuts or even when he was handling the ball. Give OSU credit. The refs were not calling it (at least early) so they knew they could get away with it and I think it wore Johnny down. The impressive thing is Johnny was still playing the tough D and was still rebounding well.
  8. Should have pulled him before Turner batted!
  9. Yelich, another chopper on the third pitch of the at bat. The best pitch he saw was the first one right down the middle. Then fouled one off and rolled over! It is so hard to watch.
  10. The radar for Detroit looks like this rain could last a while - like until 10pm central time.
  11. I have a goal to get to all 30 MLB ballparks. My adult daughter and I will be going to Oracle Park in San Fran and also to Oakland later this month. So, for those who have been there what do I need to know about the ballpark? What food are they known for? Any good bars or eating places around the ballpark? Any places in the park that are must see places? Any suggestions you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  12. I am not in a place where I can watch or listen tonight. I am assuming someone is warming up in the Brewers pen. Who do they have up??
  13. I was at the game today and I have a couple of obersations. First, Huira, to me still seems somewhat lost at the plate. I realize he got a hit but he also struck out twice and seemed to still be swinging right through middle, middle fastballs. Second, it seemed like Yelich is getting some of his swagger back. He had a homer, a single, and just missed another homer. I realize that the Rockies pitching staff is not great but it was good to see Yeli barrel up some balls. Finally, as good as he is, it appears as though it's tough to keep Wong on the field. Has he always been injury prone?
  14. If you look at Yelich's approach in 2019 and compare it to what he is doing today, he has changed what he is doing with his front foot. I don't know if it's because of the injured knee but he seems to be flying open way too much this year compared to what he did in 2018 and 2019.
