  1. Does this game have any additional meaning today? If the Brewers walk out of Fenway winning 2 of 3 does that send a message to the AL and the rest of the NL or is this just 1 game on the schedule of 162. I think this team is starting (if they don't already) believe they can win the division and make a run in the playoffs, 2008 alot of these guys were "babies" but now our offense is seasoned and we arguably have the best starting 4 in the NL and Axford has done the job and he was electric last night. I would love to win this game today and plant a little seed in Francona and his troops. GO BREW
  2. How many do you have?
  3. Unless injuries ravage this team I don't see a scenario where this team isn't in it at the break. The starters are too good and there's too much offense on this team.
  4. Hopefully, this is sleep related and he can get this fixed ASAP. IMO he is our best matchup against Votto and Bruce, he also will play a roll against Howard and Utley (if we make the playoffs). Maybe Herrera can fill the void, I'm hopeful as these games start meaning more that the brass sees the importance of 2 lefties (if effective) in the bullpen to address "situations". GO BREW
  5. Also look at this way, Seid missed on Arnett and Covey was awful in college so can the guy keep missing on 1st rounder after 1st rounder?? At some point you would think he would hit on one of these guys. GO BREW
  6. How can we be upset with 2 guys supposedly in the top 10 rankings wise in this draft??
  7. Why is this year random? This for the experts and naysayers how has Yuni defense been so far this year? Thanks
  8. How is Yuni's defensive numbers, all I've heard is how awful he is defensively, is that the case? (stats wise). Thanks GO BREW
  9. I don't buy this Kotsay assessment. The only reason why that guy was playing is because of injuries, if Morgan and Hart can stay healthy Kotsay's number of AB's will go way down. Keep in mind guys Melvin has a say so on personnel as well. When we have a all-star caliber catcher does the backup matter that much where were bagging on the manager. LuCroy should make the all-star game in my book, he plays in day games after night games, Nieves role is TINY http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. A better topic would be is RR an upgrade over Macha, Sveum and Yost. Since we're in this and I haven't seen any major blunders I absolutely am in the RR camp. Typical Brewerfan over analysis and nitpicking though from fans. Maybe you guys want Macha back and a buried team by the end of May http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif GO BREW
  11. Until Friday Betancourt has been adequate (or better) at SS so far. I will say the guy hits the ball extremely hard, I wish he could elevate some of those a bit. Guys referencing Hardy really are out in leftfield, the guy is a broken down shell of his early self. Time to move on fellas. Go BREW
  12. Betancourt has been fine so far.
  13. Reasonable offers accepted. blikemike2@aol.com Thanks Mike
  14. I can't make it to these games. 4/22 DB 213 row 5 $46 ea. 4/23 DB 213 row 5 $46 ea. 4/23 212 row 12 $38 ea. (loge infield box) I'm in the Brookfield area but am flexible to meet in Milwaukee
  15. Hi Guys, I have 4 seats in Loge Infield sect 227 Row 13 available Also Have 2 seats in Terrace Reserve (get you in the door seats) PM me or call me at 262-312-0879 Mike
  16. I fully expect this team to make the playoffs, after that all bets are off. Is that too high???
  17. If the Brewers make the playoffs this year DM will probably be named EXEC of the year, LOL
  18. Prince Im in
  19. Please PM if you have any openings, looking to join a dynasty type league, hopefully with alot of active members.
  20. Let's hope someone in the Brewer front office sees this thread, if healthy he would be a hUGE get, plus Cleveland wants to move salary. Brewers would be on the hook for 2 years because his option I think turns into another year if he's dealt.
  21. Angels have alot of money coming off the books after 2012 so I guess they think they can afford this move. Maybe they've seen the FA's in 2012 etc... but man thats a HUGE contract to swallow
  22. A writer by the name of Hoynes recently answered questions from Indians fans. He works for the Cleveland Plains Dealer. His answer to the question Will the Indians trade Sizemore. The question now is would Cleveland love to dump the money??? And from the Brewer perspective, his health. Hey, Leslie: I don't think Sizemore has any trade value because no one, including the Indians, knows if he'll be able to rebound from the microfracture surgery on his left knee and play in 2011. A team, contender or not, would make a serious mistake acquiring Sizemore at this time unless they had a great crystal ball. I would think the earliest a team would inquire about Sizemore would be the All-Star break and only if he was able to play a significant number of games in the first half.
  23. I would view Sizemore as a salary dump by Cleveland, they've done nothing but pay this guy for 2 years and has been rewarded with LONG stays on the disable list. The big question is is he healthy.
  24. Based on his injury history (last 2 years) I would think the price tag is LOW.
  25. This just hit me like a thunderbolt of lightning. Per mlbtraderumors.com the Indians would love to trade Grady Sizemore. If he's healthy he is the kind of player that would be a big boost to the offense. He's signed thru this year and his option becomes a player option if traded but at $8 million I'm wondering if we could fit him into our salary cap? How do I contact Melvin http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
