  1. 6 for $120 and include an out (if Fielder wants it) has to put us right in this. I can't believe someone will go $25 nillion per for 7 to 8 years. I think Boras is up to his tricks myself. Mixed emotions to bring him back at $20 million per. We could probaly get Ramirez and a decnt SS for that and probably still be able to find a middle reliver or 2. GO BREW
  2. If we can't get Fielder this guy loves hitting at Miller Park. Let's do either or. I wouldn't find getting this guy and maybe we could get someone else, I would think Fielder will tap us out.
  3. Brettac, it will be over WAY before then. I don't think a high profile FA has ever waited till March. The market will develop for Fielder within the next 30-60 days and it won't be a secret (meaning the Brewers will know what it will take to sign him).
  4. I have a hard time believing the Brewers would pass if Boras crawled back with his tail between his legs and asked if the $100 million 5 year deal is still on the table.
  5. If they're not willing to stretch the payroll then why are they waiting on Fielder???? He would put right in that range ($95-$100 million)?????
  6. I think you guys are low on the payroll. I think the Brewers can go 95-100 million if they're "going for it" again. GO BREW
  7. what Paul said regarding Wolf http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Stevo lets do the math here, the Brewers are waiting on Fielder and apparently would go 5 years for $100 million, they sign Rollins and ARAM for $10 million per, you trade Wolf that adds about $11 million to the payroll, you let McGehee go and you don't re-sign Hairston. That tells me the money definitely makes sense. They also realize a savings of about 4-5 million saving Fielders salary and factoring raises for others. The question obviously would be can the Brewers get those 2 players to sign here. If The Brew could pull this off I would argue they will be as good as last years team. Rollins Hart Braun ARAM Weeks Gamel LuCroy Morgan/Gomez I would go to war with that team any day of the week.
  8. Doubtful Rollins will get 5 years, I would think 4 for $40 might get it done. I would love him at 4 years a 5th would be a stretch, A Rollins & Ramirez packgae would be great, trade Wolf to open up the salary.
  9. My understanding is Krod cannot be offered arbitration under the new rules, players must be on the team for the whole season. Those rules are in place this year, correct?
  10. Boras's personna has taken some hits as well. The AROD fiasco where AROD basically had to take over the negotiations and the biggest one I can remember was the absolutely outlandish contract request by Jason Varitek, as I recall Boras was asking for like 3 years for $45 million and Varitek ended up signing for 1 or 2 years and was way below the price tag. The new draft rules will hurt Boras somewhat as well. I'm on record that Prince won't get 8 years for $195 million.
  11. I have Braun Big heads for like $20 ea.
  12. You could probably add Minnesota to the SS need list
  13. Why not sign Aramis Ramirez, he's free right?
  14. What about Bloomquist?
  15. Parity in football has alot to do with the scheduling, teams that finish lats play very easy schedules the next year.
  16. Krod could only hurt his bargaining power by costing team draft picks, just don't see it, but I may be wrong.
  17. My understanding in arbitration you can only cut the salary like 20%. That means we could try and cut the salary down to 9.3 but the player woulkd argue its not his fault he became a setup guy, so lets say they ask for somewhere between $12-$13 million which represents a modest raise there could be danger of KROD accepting if the offers aren't great. Not sure how much of a risk we would willing to take on something like this.
  18. Not sure why the postseason should be different. The rule doesn't have a postseason clause in it. It says you can't sell above face. Period. If you want to scalp, there are plenty of places you can go do that. This isn't the place for it. If you have extra tickets and you want hard core fans to use them, put them up here, get your money back and be happy that the ticket's getting used. If you're looking for profit, use another medium. Totally disagree, don't buy them then if you think its too much. If you're selling below Stubhub pricing you're doing people on this board a favor IMO
  19. $100 FIRM ea. Can meet in the New Berlin/Brookfield area Call or text me at 2623120879 Mike

  22. Should have raised them more to help pay for Prince.
  23. Excited, stoked, can't wait, psyched, and nervous GO BREW
  24. Looking for the green or orange version both are #'d to 25. I'm trying to get all 25 of these, let me know if you have one of these even if you don't want to sell it. I would like to try and track some of these down. Thanks Mike
  25. Keep in mind sellers pay a 15% premium to Stubhub so if you're going to do a deal factor that in. You shouldn't have to pay Stubhub prices. Good luck
