    Right now, Matt Wise should not be pitching in anything but a mop up role with the Brewers hopelessly behind, the beaning messed him up, its very obvious. Linebrink was lights out today, he couldn't pitch another inning???

    Now that we're actually playing games in August that matter I think it's time to put your personal likes and "crushes" towards players aside, we need to win games. Jenkins numbers for the last 2 months have been just dreadful, right now Mench is better (that's sad. I have been a very outspoken critic of Jenkins, his streakiness kills you, especially the extremely long SLUMPS. It would be a total shock if they re-up w/ Jenkins, good riddance thanx for all of the long slumps and injuries GO BREW, let's get one tonight!!!!

    I think Williams would take the draft picks instead of those trinkets, that's the problem now, for the most part in trades you'll have to intice the opposing GM that the package we're giving is better than 2 high draft picks. Unfortunately, that means Inman, Jeffress or Parra has to be in a deal where we're getting something of substance, UNLESS we find a team dumping salary and there doesn't seem to be a bunch of those teams anymore because of the rebound in major league baseball.

    I thought I would bump this, although it's a seller market, he would be a very nice acquisition, who seems to be on a contract drive. He would be awesome batting 2nd, Hardy could then slide down the order? What will it take, after Inman, Parra & Jeffress do we have any worthwhile pitching prospects that other teams would want?     Is Ned saving the bullpen for tomorrow? Cappy was good thru 5, we just took the lead, this is one of those games you can manage differently. This guy has the imagination of an insect. God I can't stand Yost, then he leaves Capuano out there to die. If we had a decent manager and I mean even a decent manager I wonder what our lead in the division would be. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hunter appears to be on a HUGE contract drive, he would be an awesome addition to the Brew, so would Buehrle. All I can say if you prefer Lofton or Abreu to Hunter I'm sure glad you're not our GM. For one Lfton totally sucks in my opinion and is not the defensive player Hunter is. Abreu appears to be showing his age. Just my opinion.

    If Hall is indeed out 6-8 weeks, DM should get on the horn and try & get TH. His defense os awesome and he certainly can fill in for Hall's bat. Twinks are almost dead(7 1/2 back) and love cheap young players!!!! Get her done DM, this makes too much sense.

    It's no secret the Brewers are a little light in the OF, at the major league level and in the minors, call it need or call it best power hitter, I agree with JZ when he said we would like someone to join the big club quickly to assist the current crop, makes perfect sense, as opposed to drafting a HS player who will take 4-5 years.
