  1. Ah, 5 more maybe but definitely not with a 4-0 lead in the playoffs.
  2. I think a lot of people bought into their analytics and their shifts. It's the Schoop trade that really made no sense.
  3. Moose really needs to learn how to Brewer choke. Time for a team meeting/intervention.
  4. This feels like the old WWF where they just cook up new ways to aggravate the fans and keep them hooked by letting the heels win. What are the Brewers going to do to screw this up?
  5. Use the fire scissors to puncture all the tires. Just like they planned it all along.
  6. Good job throwing in that extra pitch for believability. I felt bad for him.
  7. The end of the season was 5 days ago. He's not bad. He's just been struggling for a week. He was struggling on the off days? I struck him out 7 times on 22 pitches on Wednesday. You should have seen it. Even threw left-handed on the last K.
  8. Cain had an 8-game hitting streak (11-35 with 3 walks) to end the season. Not sure why people think he's all of a sudden bad.
  9. Schoop is a reverse splits guy, but yeah, that was bad. Mainly because Schoop sucks.
  10. They literally would have been better off cutting Carmona and Ortiz and keeping Villar. And they had Perez and Shaw at 2B, too. Just unthinkably bad - and the risk of this happening was there all along, because this is the kind of thing that happens to terrible OBP guys all the time.
  11. Not Stearns unfortunately. Dude is entitled to a drunken mistake once in a while but I hope he atones for this one.
  12. I vote we just leave all the plumbing posts alone and see how far they go with it.
  13. Brewers batters getting ready for a who-can-strike-out-the-fastest competition with runners on 1st and 3rd and nobody out.
  14. 2.93 FIP as a Brewer and some bad luck on ground balls and stuff. He's been fine. I hope they open the pocketbook for him because I don't see them getting a better guy on a 1-year deal. Just pick up his option and have an awesome pen again.
  15. The intent wasn't to steal home. Anderson takes forever to throw the ball, but he caught Shaw running. I agree, Shaw was just supposed to straight steal 2nd, and got picked off, so Perez decided to try to make something of it. IMHO But having someone as slow as Shaw steal second is arguably still being too afraid of a DP.
  16. I don't think you can be so afraid of a double play. Better chance of a hit or fly ball than stealing home.
  17. I thought it was clearly their plan to set up a DP with the speedy Kratz at the plate.
  18. Probably setting up the DP with some of the Crew's slowest runners here.
  19. It's that high leverage at-bat that bothers me. The chances of at least one run in that inning would have gone way up with a real hitter in there. I can't see how getting one more inning out of him was likely to have a higher payoff than a potential rally inning.
  20. They kept 14 hitters, and they have 4 fully rested starters in the pen (Guerra, Miley, Peralta, Gio). I love them but that was just dumb.
  21. Guys, 56 pitches is a lot for Chacin on 3 days rest. This is the first time he ever started 2 games in 4 days. This is stupid. Probably real stupid.
