    The minor league players association joined with the mlb players union when they reformatted them. My question is will the minor league players get locked out to or will they strike? The reason I ask is because that could keep some of the minor league players off the 40 man roster next year[Wilkens,Pratt]

    For some reason I thought the minor league was added to the MLB players association last year. I could be wrong, but I think they will be stopping play also. Maybe the owners won't lock the minor leagues out, because that wouldn't help them get to their main goal salary restructure or cap. I could also see the minor league players association striking then. I hope not .

    jay87shot says part of him has Baez and Arienamo ahead of Durbin and he is correct. I know Durbin is closer to the big leagues, but the highest I would go is 23 for Durbin.

    We had 7 months of fun and exciting baseball, it was great. I don't want to lose that feeling of excitement. Yes, it hurt losing that game the way we did, but I was thinking about what is coming up in our system {Pratt, Miz, Yoho, Made} and others in the coming years. That feeling of what's coming will carry me though the long winter.

    I had posted earlier that older players should be let go, I added Ross to that list, but I was wrong about Ross. The brewers found his perfect roll for Ross. Henderson, Patrick, Shane Smith and Martinez should be added to the 40man roster but when I pullup the roster and see the age Rea will be 35 next year. I will be ok if he is not brought back.

    I would like to see Yoho added to the roster this year, but I don't see how they can. Hall needs to be added to the roster soon, so they don't burn up his option. I think they will let some of the older players with no options go this winter {Hoby, Herget, Miley, Montas and Ross} this will open some spots on the roster to protect a players like Henderson, Smith and Patrick. I think Crow would be a good add, but I agree with most of you that you don't want to rehab at the major league level, so Crow should be safe. This would let the team bring younger players with options to move up and down to the minors easier. Louis Ely

    Good article, but my question is what college pitchers missed the year with TJ surgeries? The brewers drafted Woodard last year .

    I agree Carlos Rodriguez, Lara, EBJ, Blaylock. I would add Clark and Weimer and McKendry to the mix of most likely to be traded. The brewers need two things to happen soon, 1st they need to open 40 man roster spots and with the draft signings coming. The Brewers are only aloud 165 players stateside They need to move some of the DSL players stateside also.

    This is the deepest group of players I have ever seen with this team. The next five or six could be in the top 20. With the players that have graduated to the big leagues {Turang,Mitchell,Ortiz,Frelick,Dunn and soon to be Gasser} could they trade away two or three of some prospects for a pitcher. That is a great group of young players, but you will always need veterans.
