  1. I agree it's too bad teams have to manipulate their rosters, but we as a fan base of a small market team we have to understand that. Time and money matter.
  2. Good, keep it up. I don't agree with this assessment Avina. You can't strikeout that much in the low minors. There are just to many players that follow that patten and they flame out in high A or AA. Keep it up we need more info on the low minors.
  3. Great article. As much as I like Willy I hope Turang can play short stop for years to come.
  4. I also agree Counsell is a very good manager. I have to wonder if after last year's whining of the trade was too much for Counsell. Moving to the front office would look good to a lot of people. If you recall after he said he talked to the club they continued to complain about the trade. Counsell is a young man he could manage for twenty more years. Now would be the time to move into the front office. I believe in my heart that Arnold is the biggest reason for the brewers minor league success. Signing Arnold top priority and keeping Counsell would be good great also, but babysitting could get old.
  5. With Arnold maybe a clean slate will be a good time to DFA Hiura. My question is with his $2+mil does he loose that or if he accepts the Nashville assignment does, he keep all the money, because nobody will pay him that kind of money.
  6. Peralta only throw 83 innings last year, so the most he will throw this year is maybe 130 innings. Perez is no longer the player people thought he was {strikeouts, loss of speed} if you strikeout in Low A ball it doesn't matter how many tools you have.
  7. A more consistent offense {fewer strikeouts} and a better more consistent bullpen. I like the new look bullpen and believe the brewers will have 90+ wins. Getting the young pitchers{minor league} another year of successful pitching is high on my list of priorities. Signing Woody to an extension. Getting Frelick, Weimer and Turang to the big-league club and having success. I know if they are up, we are probably not having success, but I would love to see them.
  8. Seth great article on winter meetings, but you forgot Adrian Houser. I feel he could be an important piece to the bullpen if we don't sign a 7th- 8th inning guy.
  9. After reading Brewcrew82 I have to say he is right on in his chat. This is Nov. 24th, and we have a long time before next season. I also feel the brewers are going for a different style of ball. If you look at how they drafted recently you would see that. This has been coming for a couple of years.
  10. It took a couple of weeks, but I like the change. The one thing I would ask is more draft info. Some of the contributors are great. Keep up the good work!!
  11. good read!
