    According to this article (https://www.ballysports.com/wisconsin/news/brewers-outfield-prospect-tristan-peters-providing-pop-for-timber-rattlers), he injured himself while making a diving catch on July 10th and came out of the game. Certainly hope he isn't traded, I think Black has the best MLB-regular potential of anyone on the TRats roster, aside from maybe Antoine Kelly.

    Relative to the rest of this anemic offense, he is a "good hitter" right now. In July, his SLG is over .700 and his K rate is around 32%, which is still high, but perfectly acceptable when he's driving the ball and getting on base. Poor timing to send him down. I understand the move from a roster construction standpoint based on the need for another bullpen arm and lack of healthy CF options, but really the issue is that we're carrying 3 catchers. Hopefully Severino gets dealt soon.

    Reynolds is in his prime and has 3 years of club control remaining. Bednar was stellar last year as well, and he's not FA eligible until 2027. This trade would require the Crew to give up an absolute haul.

    Interesting. Possible that Severino may be on the move soon, and they'd like to have the insurance of Feliciano close-by in case of injury to Narvaez/Caratini?

    Toronto obviously has a strong offense, but the lack of lefties in their lineup has me hoping for a lengthy, effective start from Houser. He's due.

    I definitely groaned and questioned CC at the ballpark yesterday when I saw Kelley warming up for the meat of the order, and then he went ahead and dominated for 2 innings. Impressive stuff.
