So I just read a tweet from Tom that said the Brewers are planning to go to camp with the group they currently have. I don’t agree with this and I tend to believe that this is poor.. if we didn’t plan on adding pitching, why trade for YelIch and why sign Cain?

Been hearing a lot about Bauer and I must say I am not thrilled.. Archer is the guy you want, not Trevor Bauer..

It appears that he is either hinting at Trevor Bauer or the fact that something should happen in the next 24 hours. Curious what Trevor Bauer would cost, though he doesn't really move the needle as much as Archer would. Also probably would not cost Burnes though. What does 24 have to do with Trevor Bauer?

I think you just give him 5 Years at $150M.. Yeah, it sucks, but it guarantees you he signs today, instead of having to wait and then inevitably losing him..

I think you include Burnes because I don’t think he is a TOR in the next 4 years.. maybe year 5, but at that point the window is likely closed.

I wouldn’t feel bad about giving up Burnes and Santana plus for Archer.. he has always been the guy I wanted. Burnes isn’t that good to me, and I think Luis could end up being better anyways..

So we are going to bank on guys that have done nothing. If we don’t win the Series in the next 5 years I don’t think we ever will.

Like yeah, I get it, but it would be 5 years of a stud at like $5-10 million a year.. he is 24

Even if we had to give our top 5 prospects to get him, I think it would be worth it.. Thoughts??
