  1. Speaking of scoring too fast.
  2. Very cool, I was pretty convinced the national media was going to find a way to give it to someone else. That said each of the other candidates were deserving. Good for Corbin.
  3. We're averaging a point a quarter vs. a 3-5 team at home. Awesome.
  4. Rodgers had no practice time this week. What's Love's excuse? It was his first NFL start? If that's not good enough then your garbage Rodgers excuse is pathetic.
  5. So far Rodgers doesn't look much better than Jordan Love. Don't tell the Love haters.
  6. All hail our new scapegoats! May they set a new MLB record and last 4 seasons in the job.
  7. I'm not going to overreact to the news leaks about Stearns. If he's leaves so be it. I think it's possible to have interest in a job but not leave the job you currently have, it simply means he has interest. I've said it before but the Brewers found Stearns, I'm confident they can find his replacement whether that's Matt Arnold or someone outside the organization. Cohen seems very intent on getting a guy that is already an established executive at the big league level. That is one way to fill a position but it's not the ONLY way. Hence how Stearns's star has risen in the first place. I want Stearns to remain with the Brewers, if he leaves I'll be bummed a bit but it doesn't mean losing him is the end of competitive baseball in Milwaukee. Who knows, maybe the next person in charge does better? There are many bright individuals in this game, I have no doubt there's a good future executive out there that can lead the Brewers.
  8. I'm going to go ahead and trust the actual NFL scouts and ignore the message board wannabe scouts on the Jordan Love front. I don't think I witnessed anything out of the ordinary for a young QB's NFL debut, a guy that was recognized to be a bit of a project when he was drafted. Might he end up washing out? Of course. This game is far from enough evidence to prove that. I hoped it would be better but don't think it was that bad at all. That was a winnable game with the players they used today, it just didn't work out that way.
  9. King, chill. You're bad there's no reason to draw a penalty on top of it.
  10. Almost broke that run. Dang.
  11. It was a bad throw. We don't need to spin it into the worst interception in NFL history.
  12. I really doubt Love or anyone on the field knew that would be challenged. They're not seeing the replays and live I thought he had the 1st easy.
  13. Big 3rd down, here's where things usually fall apart.
  14. Special teams has been atrocious indeed, but the defense is having a fine performance and it is being wasted. Yeah defense is the only reason they're even in this game. I posted that shortly after that botched snap on offense, but mostly special teams has been a letdown. Sure would be nice if the score was 13-6.
  15. Really, really need this offensive line back to full strength with preferred starters. The stopgap players aren't or are just barely cutting it.
  16. Love doesn't have to be solely responsible for scoring 14 pts but it would help if other areas of the team weren't looking like a clown show.
  17. This special teams... Incredible.
  18. LMAO at all the hot takes. Really enjoying the utter lack of objectivity. 1st Downs (GB - KC) 8 9 Passing 1st downs 4 5 Rushing 1st downs 3 3 1st dwns from penalties 1 1 Total Plays (GB - KC) 27 35 Total Yards 158 129 Total Drives 6 6 Yards per Play 5.9 3.7 Passing 92 79 Rushing 66 50
  19. Most of those guys have dumpsters of a supporting cast on offense. Yet they're winning games. Jacksonville just beat the Bills.
  20. [sarcasm]I can't believe Love isn't playing like a veteran in his first start.[/sarcasm] 2021 rookies Lawrence: 2-6, 2-1 in his last 3 games Wilson: started 1-4 then got hurt Lance: 0-2 in his meaningful time Fields: started 3-1, now 3-4 Jones: 5-4, 4-1 in his last 5 NFL be hard. This game could be 7-6 if special teams was in any way competent.
  21. Vikings could be heading to overtime and looking like the Jags might prevail over the Bills. What a day for upsets.
  22. Kind of random and not actual news but with the NFL Network choosing to run a Gameday Live show every Sunday why would anyone pay extra to get NFL Redzone? Feels like they're cannibalizing their own product. I understand that Redzone shows live coverage but Gameday Live is showing relatively current highlights where it doesn't make much difference.
  23. I'm curious, and this is something that likely never gets disclosed, but I'm curious if the Packers and the league have had internal conversations how to deal with this situation in the weeks before Rodgers' tested positive. To me it doesn't feel far fetched that they've agreed to allow Rodgers to act the way he has and cross their fingers that he would continue testing negative. That's getting deep into conspiracy theory territory and it's completely of my own making but it wouldn't surprise me if they've had discussions.
  24. I hear you Peavy and can't fault your opinion, I think I've placed myself as being more sympathetic to the team's choice. It may rightfully lead to discipline by the league but I also think the league shares guilt since they have been aware of Rodgers' status the entire time and can't claim ignorance to the league's reigning MVP giving press conferences while being non-compliant.
  25. What if Rodgers doesn't comply and goes on his own as it seems was his preference? Are they going to physically restrain him? Despite appearances, Aaron Rodgers doesn't run the Packers. Not suggesting he does. Not my intention to absolve the team of responsibility, but how do they stop him? Again, right or wrong, and I'd agree it's wrong, I think the Packers were in a hard place trying to stay in Rodgers' good graces due to what had transpired in the off-season and therefore were in a hard position where I'd understand why they didn't try harder to enforce those restrictions. Are they responsible? In my opinion yes. I'm also trying to understand each side of the issue. With my fan emotions engaged I'm exasperated and annoyed that Rodgers chose the path he did and I don't feel the slightest bit sorry for him that it's blown up in his face. Aside from the human side of things where hopefully he makes a speedy recovery to good health.
