considering the injury to lee, now's the time to ask the question: if lee is indeed out for the opening of the season, who starts in left field? jenks, hart, cruz, or someone else?
sounds like JDLR just needs to conquer his control issues. but this doesn't seem like something that's uncommon for hard throwing lefties. (this is not a comparison) but it took randy johnson a long time to get his stuff under control.
as someone who has a knack for teaching, there's a whole lot of pride that comes with seeing the people you educate succeed. those people become your success due to your ability.
maybe i'm being overly optimistic (comes with the territory as a brewers fan) but i'm pretty confident in the brewers pitching staff and think that they're going to surprise a lot of folks this year. nice hit for JDLR
possibly. maybe. i have no idea. i need to go read up on this guy before i can even start to make an argument. i suppose i can start by saying that any pitcher that melvin brings on board and that maddux has an opportunity to work with could be.
ok, i just started listening to the game. it's the top of the 2nd and i think that lee is on third and jenks is on first. sutton just confirmed: lee - 2B jenks - 1 B (lee to 3rd) russel the muscle - K (looking) hall - 1B (lee scores) (whoever batted here) GDP
for all the hype about prince and rickie, it was nice to see hardy get a couple of hits today, someone who will actually be on the big club when camp breaks.
