  1. Gritty inning by Miley. We’ll be lucky to get a couple more innings out of him, methinks. We need the Haderade
  2. Lol, don't know why I even had to verify that this was by the guy with the Conan The Barbarian sig. MOAR Herodotus! I’ll stop short of recommending the Brewers sell their women and children into slavery. One must have boundaries.
  3. Maybe, but you gotta take what the market gives you. Can't force it. Quite right. He'd look good on the lineup card, though.
  4. Not to revive an old argument, but I think Aguilar's struggles just serves to highlight how poorly Thames played since the summer. He couldn't even sniff playing time. For sure. A lot of guys on this team kind of seem like prototypical 5/6 hitters, and you have to move 2 of them up to hit 3rd and 4th. Shaw, Moustakas, Thames, Aguilar, Braun, Santana, Schoop (if he ever gets his head out of his butt...) depth is nice but they could use a really good #3 or #4 hitter. Agreed. Right-handed power bat needed over the offseason. Must play corner infield. So I guess, ummm, Goldy?
  5. He hit the wall months ago. He looks and moves like a surly teenager who had to get out of bed early and isn't even fully awake yet. Still hits some deep by virtue of his raw strength, but he's just a liability now. And he hardly ever even has to play all game. Not to revive an old argument, but I think Aguilar's struggles just serves to highlight how poorly Thames played since the summer. He couldn't even sniff playing time.
  6. Again, good pitches, most of which likely to be called strikes by a home plate ump who is practically polishing Kershaw's hall of fame bust behind the plate. EDIT: Except strike three. That pitch was garbage.
  7. Hey, so, does Aguilar have any reason to want a big moment in this game? Just wondering...you know, hypothetically...
  8. To be fair, he just got Kershaw's (and the umpire's) best work there. Unreal
  9. [sarcasm]I'm sure Woody will get those calls in the bottom of the inning.[/sarcasm]
