    this is part of the issue with the guys battling for the last two spots. Yo lucky to make the roster even in the pen Miley is not the answer and not holding out hope for him to be a starter that last thru mid season and for Guerra sorry think his first year was due to being knew to the league.

    Joey yes any logical brewer fan should now that Miley and the other arms are no where near the replacement for Nelson. I don't want us to wipe out our farm system for Guy like Archer like I stated over and over as you so pointed out . I really thought if we could have added one of the 3 FA arms that would be an equal value replacement for Nelson

    I will be kinda disappointed when i hear that Cobb signs elsewhere but i agree maybe Cobb might not want to pitch in Milwaukee.

    You think that our current roster doesn't even put us in ballpark of contention? If Suter has really taken a step forward, and if Miley is fixed, and Nelson comes back at 100%... with Woodruff at AAA as the first call-up, yeah, I think this Crew is a contender. No Garza/Wily Peralta/Blazek starts. That is a lot of big ifs for me at this time sorry but that also includes a big if Chase can put up the same numbers like last year.

    Another point about having Mid season flexibility is that you have to be able to get into that spot to make a trade.

    I am sorry but really like DS but there "s no way that he or the Brewers can feel this rotation as is can compete for a playoff spot as is. Now maybe Cobb just does not want to come to Milwaukee and that could be the issue no one realizes. But the bottom line No One who competing for Jimmy Nelson spot is any way close to him. I am very concerned over what can we expect from Nelson when he finally returns
