I just agree that they really can't look to go into this season without really replacing Nelson in the rotation.

I think DS knows his playoff chances are better with either Cobb or Arrieta are in the rotation. but I also believe he will not throw money away either.

the issue is that we don't know when Jimmy will be back or how effective he will be on his return -
i guess his best chance to get full time work is in triple A

I agree if Cobb waned the cubs he would have signed,Their is no way that the Brewers can expect Nelson to pitch any close to what he did in 2017 at this point. The brewers really need to get one of these two guys.

Totally agree there is no way this team is a contender without Nelson as no guy in this rotation could replace Nelson. And if they expect to make a playoff run they need to find a quality replacement -

None of the guys on the roster are replacing Nelson and they need that if they expect to be a wild card contender
