    Brady's a nice reserve at this point, but the Crew can't afford to keep any one of those three on the bench. Don't get me wrong, I'm in the "bench Brady as much as possible camp," but JJ has not being doing much to make his presence required. I think the Brewers could certainly "afford" to keep him on the bench, as he's not producing.

    Uecker literally left me hanging for about a minute on Hall's double, my God. He actually did the "Way back, way back" and then followed up with the "get up, get outta here, it's GONE for Bill Hall! (20 second pause) "or is it? Beltran was back there..." (minute later) "It's a double." Thanks a lot Ueck!

    Does anyone (Russ I'm looking at you) have any stats/percentages showing approximately how many extra innings games are won by the home team as opposed to the road team? By the way, the sight of Kolb in the 9th gives me an uncontrollable urge to throw up all over myself.

    See, here in lies the difference between the Padres and Brewers. In close games, they have Linebrink. In close games, the Brewers have, well, De La Rosa.

    Stupid question...How did he get that nickname? From the Sharpie-esque facial hair he was rockin when he first joined the Crew - in other words, it looked like it was drawn on by a black Sharpie marker.

    The only reason I was surprised is because Rickie strikes out a lot. That's the only reason I would need not to walk him - that and he has zero power so far.
