I agree but the sense of urgency given the situation could be ramped up by pointing out the madness of where things are.

Montesario hitting cleanup. Wiemer 5th. I just don't understand how this is being allowed to happen. I wish the owner would actually step in a say boys I expect you to do what it takes to make me a champion.

Once again the Milwaukee media bubble is protecting the management. Imagine the pressure to get something done if this was ny or la. It really is something.
  4. Bulldogboy
Game might be over sad to say. The pressure these pitchers have to feel every night.
  5. Bulldogboy
Unprofessional ab again from Jones. How many ab is this team going to throw away?

This situation needs more attention. I have not heard Counsell asked about this matter nor Arnold for that matter. There has to be more to this story. I was not aware that Winker on top of being embarrassingly bad is making 10 million dollars. If so this could be ownership saying sorry boys but we aren't cutting loose 10 million dollars.

Anytime you win a game with Rea in front of Burnes you gotta feel pretty good.
  8. Bulldogboy
That hit by Winker while huge probably bought him more time on the roster unfortunately.
  9. Bulldogboy
Brewers type of win for sure.
  10. Bulldogboy
Frustrating team on offense but Counsell could be doing more small ball all things considered. Waiting for 200 hitters to move guys with base hits is ridiculous.
  11. Bulldogboy
    Of course
  12. Bulldogboy
This team when you need a groundball hits flyballs. Need a flyball you are going to get a groundball.
  13. Bulldogboy
I like this idea. Toro did nothing but hit when here.
  14. Bulldogboy
Brewers aren't good hitting team sure but Counsell isn't helping. Runner on second nobody out and a guy hitting 200 up you have to bunt with your stud coming up next. It's madness to continue watching non productive outs time after time.
  15. Bulldogboy
Turang could use watching some tape of Frelick and the short stroke.

Arnold has to be aggressive and get something done now. He's in a tough spot in how far to go to get a bat but I have a bad feeling He's waiting to see what Rowdy is going to look like.
  17. Bulldogboy
Another need is a pinch hit bat with power. The bench is horrific.
  18. Bulldogboy
    A two strike approach? Whoa.
  19. Bulldogboy
This feels like a playoff series and not in a good way for the Brewers. We have seen this a ton.
  20. Bulldogboy
    He does that a bunch.
  21. Bulldogboy
This is further evidence that Arnold has work to do. Bullpen isn't going to be perfect. Offense is needed.
  22. Bulldogboy
If the guy doing it is one of his best friends and he has total job security.

Find out from Stearns if he wants to stay or wants to go. No way Eppler gets that job unless they believe he can bring along Stearns. The problem with a trade is why would Stearns want to bankrupt his new team with a trade for himself?? It's a problem and there are no easy answers.

I am shocked by the lack of starting pitching in this series. I will say that the Brewers will never have had a more wide open better chance to win a world series than this year. Especially with the dh coming in. Blown opportunity.

I had Braves in 4 and I am sorry I was right. The month of September alarmed me and I was not a flip the switch guy. It sucks and I think this division is not going to be easy to win with the Cards around. The roster is poorly constructed imo. Big moves are needed but I am sure we will not see them. It's disappointing for sure. I was hopeful that the Bucks win would push the Brewers to go all in. Daniel Norris wasn't it. We shall see.
