At the end of the day sports is entertainment. Were you entertained today?? That's really what it comes down to. People have been locked up and they are going to come to the park out of a sense of normal life being back but this is not entertaining in any way.
-
In what world should Bradley being starting and Taylor on the bench?? Counsell is going to lose the clubhouse at some point.
-
That strikeout is the problem with the Brewers. That pitch was never a strike. He got himself out. Big league pitchers don't need help.
-
That's where I am too. Buck obviously stops with the players who are underperforming, but if someone needs to fall on the sword to get them to wake up, then whatever. Sucks for Haines, but when you are a hitting coach, you are going to eventually be fired. Its low-hanging fruit when it comes to appeasing fans. Firing Haines should happen but if people think that's going to change things they are mistaken. They just aren't any good.

Holliday seems to be all Cardinals all the time. Meanwhile Plesac know nothing about the Brewers. Unfair.
-
I wonder if Counsell is watching this game on tv in the clubhouse thinking man do these guys suck. I was better than all these guys. They stink.
-
If Bradley got in the box and never swung he would have a higher obp than 238.
-
Edman beating out that double play is huge. Brewers need a guy like him.
-
It's not like that throughout the game but this team for sure. The killer is that Stearns basically said this is what he wanted. This was done by choice in large part. Crazy stuff.
-
If you watch this team you will see a bunch every night.
-
It's weird but despite a leadoff double at no point did I consider that the Brewers would score there. None.
-
This is tack on inning for the Cards. Score another run and it could be game over.
-
This team is borderline unwatchable. There is basically so little chance of anything happening on offense it really is tough to expect someone to sit through 3 hours plus to watch a full game. Just grab the high/low lights on mlb.com
-
The Brewers must not realize that Matt Carpenter sucks.
-
Oneil has 7 homers?? He would be our best player.
-
You can't ask these guys to pitch under this kind of stress night after night. Setting up to get Cardinaled again.
-
Whatever happens this year the emergence of Woodruff Burnes and Peralta is a huge boost to the future of the organization. Now if only the star outfielder would live up to his contract and things are looking up.
-
Hader and Williams are going to have to pitch about 80 games a piece with this offense. No way they are going to blow anybody out. Every win is going to be 2-1. They are going to need 5 more bullpen pieces.
-
How often do you think he has passed by Stearns office and said why did you talk me into that again?? So strsnge that a guy who was on the street during spring training ends up getting the hammer of the option. It is malpractice.
-
At a certain point just fire the hitting coach and seek a new voice. Bring back Molitor. Yount? Braun? Fielder I don't care who but you just can't let the current leadership off the hook. These hitters are not getting better and the most talented hitter they have brought to the show of late is back in the minors because he can no longer hit. What is happening here?
-
Hot hitting Billy Mckinney now at 207. This team has to decide what they are going to do right now. The mirage of Yelich being out does not hold water at all especially since nobody is ever on base. Where is Stearns?? Do something man.
-
Jackie was like I might strain a rib cage so I will just watch.
-
Garcia watching for three hours and stepping up and swinging at the first pitch in a situation where a run wins the game. All that is wrong with this team.
