Shaw back to reality but the dude has been so good with the glove you got to ride with him.

As frustrating as so many of his at bats were last year, he’s really looked great offensively through the first few weeks this year. Fact. I was thinking he could be let go this off season he was that bad but he has been fantastic.

You can imagine that all the work on defense in the spring probably has Hiura behind with the bat. I am going to keep this top of mind knowing that he was brutal last year too for the most part.

The Brewers problem in games like this is we have no pen aside from Hader. How you going to get to him when Woody has about two innings left.

McKinney is a pretty good hitter. If he can play first ship Hiura out when Yelich comes back. Robertson is not a major league player.

Keston has five hits this season.... I thought that was wrong but I checked and it's correct. Mckenny has 5 as a pinch hitter.

Not having minor league ball going is a killer for small markets like the Brewers. Fans or not time to get it going.

Bullpen is a mess and oh by the way Hiura has 4 hits all season. Acuna has 7 HR. Lol

I was listening to a Dodgers show/Pod and they were laughing at how a team like the Brewers who want to compete basically gave away Knebel for a bucket of balls. They said why let the rich get richer if you are trying to beat them?? Good question.

I think many of us were asking for even more bullpen help this off season. We have seen it too many times. You can't have enough pen arms especially ones with some experience. What's Jeffress up to?? Miscalculation for sure it appears.

Where is the power with this team?? Gee if Shaw hadn't remembered how to hit where would they be?? Acuna has 7 already by himself.

The thing with Taylor is baffling. Brewers keep signing outfielders and he seems like he's ready to hit. I don't get it at all. Throw in giving away Grisham and they just don't seem to trust young guys.

Bradley has been so bad this season. If Cain and Yelich were not hurt he may have buried himself on the bench already.

Don't know who else he should have used there. It's just not a deep pen by any stretch. Houser probably should have been given the chance to pitch through 1st and 2nd and 1 out. Roll a dp and get out of it. I agree the pen is very shallow so why are we going to it early??

Suter is a guy who should not be put in the positions he is being put in imo. Counsell has to be a bit more creative.

Nice win. Excited about Freddy. Huge to win and now set up with the two horses to get a series win.

I just don't know how this bullpen is going to survive. That said this is entirely on Counsell. You have 6 coaches. What are they doing all day playing dominoes. Jeez.
