Suter is a bullpen change of pace guy. When he's the guy you are ready for he doesn't have enough stuff. It's tough but I probably would have given Houser the shot. If he can put it together he could give you five. Not saying it's right but was not a fan of the Suter decision.

This team needed to score a couple in the first and have a shutdown inning to make the Dodgers feel them. The exact opposite occurred.

The ump wasn't helpful but man Suter was brutal. This already felt like Georgetown v Villanova but it may be worse than than looking at that first inning.

Vogelbach in the lineup helps. Overall this lineup isn't bad. Arcia hitting 6th is the only issue but nothing is perfect. Williams being out is a killer though. The only real hope in a game like this is to have both him and Hader available to stretch since they would be well rested. Pressure is all on the Dodgers so score first and score early and you tighten the noose.

Gomber probably means Vogelbach on the bench and having to rely on somebody like Urias and Nottingham. Better pray Gryrko can go.

Burnes being out really puts a damper on what they can accomplish but still why not give it a shot and get in?

Agreed. It's way different watching Corbin Burnes or Freddy Peralta struggle than a guy like Lauer. Brewers got robbed in my view.

Well if he’s had three bad outings they should probably cut him I guess. Corbin Burnes gave up 11 home runs in his first four outings (17 innings) last season, I can’t believe the held onto him either. We don't need to cut him but it's a far cry from your he seems ok to me take. He's been in Appleton because he sucks. That's all I'm saying. Nothing I have seen tonight makes me think bringing him back was a good call.

He's not this bad, but I don't really see the upside that others see, either. This isn't Josh Hader stuff. Well we have seen him four times and he has been terrible three of them. I dunno. Padres gave him up and they know him better than anybody. They seem to know what they are doing in the front office.

Talking up Lauer while Grisham is headed to the playoffs again is questionable.

Phillies bullpen collapse underway. All these teams suck. Brewers not getting in is mindboggling except I've watched them every day.

I wish they would invest in one dedicated #2 guy next year who can do the play by play whenever BA cuts out. They're literally on the fourth option. The Jace Peterson of broadcasting if you will. LOL Sums it up well.

I don't think I was the only one who questioned the Garcia signing at the time. Another right handed hitting outfielder didn't seem like something of a huge need at the time. Granted Lo Cain opting out made it makes sense but we didn't know that at the time. He just doesn't seem happy or energetic at all. I don't think he's going anywhere but man I would like to move on from him this offseason.
