The only thing Carpenter can hit at this point is a belt high fastball. So with two strikes that's what he gets.

Dexter Fowler has the same amount of walks as the entire Brewers team.

In all likelihood Hiura would have a higher obp this season if he stood at home plate and did not swing the bat at all this season. He gets himself out more than any pitcher. It is amazing.

The next guy struck out. The following guy had a soft liner. Run still doesn’t score. If all he needed was to put a ball in play instead of getting a hit it changes the ab. That goes without saying.

I'm definitely not a bunt all the time guy but considering all the factors that was a prime spot for it. Urias isn't hitting and the guy on the mound has an era under two. It would be huge to take the lead for once. I just don't get it.

I understand it never happens but I remember the days when you had your ace on the mound in a big game. You had the chance to jump on top and put a run on the board. You get a leadoff double so you bunt with your weak hitting infielder to move the runner up. You get a run in and put some pressure on the other team. Those were the days.

Add the Urias situation as another big disappointment.

Hiura hitting 212 with a million strike outs is more depressing than the Yelich situation.

Bauer is crazy cat but he's good and he's smart. If he doesn't get hurt the one year deal thing will be very interesting.
