Grisham is younger than Hiura. It seems strange because he has been in the organization for longer. If this is who he is then you hold onto him and put him at the top with Hiura and Yelich.

This reminds me of the first time the brewers saw Miles Mikolas. Completely shut down. Same kind of stuff.

Up 5 runs right now? I mean, I know he hasn't pitched much lately, but I hate to pitch him two innings in a 5-0 game and lose him for the Diamondbacks. This is the tough decision's Counsell has to make. I say start with Jeffress?

I remember Aguillar playing some third base. Why not give him the day there and give Grandal first base for the day? Better lineup for sure but D may be weaker.

This lineup looks bad except for Hiura hitting cleanup.6-9 is a mess. That said probably 7 runs today.

Anyone know how Gresham profiles in the field? I'm assuming he can handle left field pretty well?

Jackson has been a Godsend to last two times out. 4 great innings drama free. Keep him around.

Facing a lefty used to make me feel hopeless but Hiura and an improved Aguillar make it interesting for sure.

I really like Gamel as a "gamer" type, but he strikes me as the type that wouldn't be as good if he played more, if you know what I mean. I guess it's kind of hard to explain ... but he's kind of like Hernan Perez in a way. A nice player in small doses, but if he's a regular, I feel like teams will figure him out. He's a perfect 4th OF, and for any team that employs Ryan Braun as a starting OF, Gamel is going to play a lot. I agree with this. He seems to be kind of guy we need more of but could get overexposed quickly. Tough call. Brauny will get his shot tomorrow against Dallas. Very interesting for all of us who wanted him signed.

I just think Hiura has added that something extra this team needed. Yelich is gonna Yelich but Hiura is that x factor alot of us were screaming for. Also anyone like Gamel over Brauny on the regular?

Yes. This organization has had a dearth of position players coming through since the Prince Braun crew. Even Arcia has been a disappointment considering his ranking at one time. Hiura appears to have been underestimated by those rankings. The guy is a stud. Yelich and him make me excited for the future.

The Dodgers are scary good. The amazing thing is we had them in our building in game 7 to go to the series. The change in fortune between us and them at least to date is remarkable. Makes the opportunity missed hurt all the more.
