  1. Perhaps today isn't but we should keep a close eye on who you see in the outfield more from here on out Bauers or Perkins. My money is on Perkins.
  2. Bauers can play the outfield. We have plenty of unproductive ab out there currently.
  3. I kept hearing how we needed Vaughn back badly. Someone tell Murphy because the guy never is in there against righty since he came back. We know what Bauers is. How do we find out about Vaughn?
  4. I'm just wondering is it ok to say that Mitchell needs to pick it up now or is he still untouchable and a standard for all other outfielders to strive for? I'm still shocked that was a hill to die on but the guy is not a rookie. He has to be better for this team to level up the lineup to compete with Cubs lineup.
  5. I'm sure his kids will be asked about it after the game.
  6. Frelick collapse back leg is the new Wiemer back wagging.
  7. Mitchell needs to make no adjustments. He's an above average mlb player 😳
  8. This is a night where Brewers should have 3 or 4 walks but plate discipline is not a strength
  9. Not upset at all. The fact he didn't have a hit since you said that till tonight just makes my point. To sit here and say he's doing fine no improvement needed was then and is now insane. You do you though.
  10. Unfortunately I made the mistake of saying Mitchell and Frelick need to pick it up a bit and the statheads here went into detail explaining that he is 112 ops plus so he's 12 percent better than average guy and he's awesome and he's a building block. I didn't think it was a shocking statement. He's been blah.
  11. I was told the guy was clearly a great player who needs to make zero adjustments and is on the path to the hall of fame when I mentioned that he could pick it up a bit.
  12. Only here are people saying a guy hitting 233 with 750 ops is doing great and can't stand to improve at all. He's an anchor to out top 3 offense. 😆 I realize people are fans but jeez.
  13. Mitchell needs to pick up especially with putting the ball in play more to increase his overall level of production. There is nothing you can say to make that an untrue statement. I have seen him mention that same fact. If you're good with him he can breathe a sigh of relief. Hitting 231 and 750 ops isn't anything to be excited about in my opinion but knowing that you're good with him at current production is fine. Doesn't change my opinion one bit.
  14. I just said he needs to do better in this area. The statheads are telling me he's Tony Gwynn. I didn't think it was a big deal. He's got to put it in play more.
  15. I just told you how. Put the ball in play more than 60 percent of the time.
  16. That solves it. Mitchell is basically Aaron Judge and is doing awesome. Got it. Thank God Murphy is playing him every day he's so productive. He's lost time to Perkins and Greg Jones. 😆
  17. When there is a runner on third and less than two it does. When there's a runner on second and you can't pull a ball to the right side it does. That is call a productive out. A strikeout is not that. It matters and he needs to do better than that to be productive.
  18. We shall see. You and most Brewers fans are depending heavily on Vaughn being the Brewers version and not the white Sox version. If Mitchell and Frelick don't pick it up it won't matter.
  19. Really? Reds? Those teams are more complete 1-9. Unless Ortiz and Rengifo are being replaced we can't say that. Chourio takes care of left but I am not ready to say Vaughn is the answer until we see him. Hopefully he is the same guy but wrist injuries are tough.
