He's pitched back to back days 7 times this year and 5 of 7 have been clean. Twice he's given up 1 run. Never a crooked number. If he gets out of this 6 of 8 scoreless. Look up stats before calling something ridiculous.... There was a question mark at the end of the sentence bro. Calm down Peter Gammons.
-
Credit to Williams. Big balls there.
-
Honestly this team needs a long man big time. You can't have 6 high leverage relievers and no long man. Get houser back up here. With burnes and now soria Williams is expendable.
-
They face right hand starters the next two days... Good to know. In that case two days off coming up if it was me.
-
Has Taylor Williams ever pitched well in back to back days? I mean don't they have spreadsheets about this? Ridiculous.
-
Jesus down to 280. Wow he's falling fast. Bad news with us being so lefty heavy we need him to produce big time. Dodgers lefty pitching so tough to find a good day coming up to sit him.
-
Giants pen hasn't been great so we still can do this one. Need the top here!!
-
Maybe something like, man I suck against lefties. Glad I don't have to face this one. Good point.
-
Hunter Pence stays look like a brewers catcher.
-
What's going through Shaw's mind?? They ask you to move next day not in there against a lefty. Better be communicating clearly to that guy. Don't want to upset the apple cart.
-
Real talk Stearns is not going to just stop here. The weaknesses are just too acute and noticeable to just let it rise. Getting that run home last inning was big. Seems like you don't get one and go back out and get clobbered. Also why Albers first time against middle of the order?? Start with Posey? I dunno maybe Burnes to keep it close? If you are not going to pitch hader Burnes jj doria and Knebel when behind you better be winning alot.

Robles is way better than Hiura...and that’s no insult to Hiura. Robles is just that great. I get that. Still if they are willing to move him I would think they could build something around him. Castro is as good as gone.
-
Thames a great bench bat. Awesome.
-
I hear the Marlins are considering Robles for Realmuto straight up. If that's the case then Hiura and Ortiz have to be considered. At least give them a call. They know our system. You can't run this version of Pina out there.
-
Pina is down to 213 and if you add in all the extra outs with double plays I mean you have to do something. Bandy is hot. I can't shake how bad he was but I can't take Pina anymore.
-
I never thought I would rather see Kratz but...
-
Unacceptable. He has to be hurt. Only explanation. Get him out now.
-
Lefty tomorrow so lineup will be interesting.
-
Jesus bat looks slow. All star game was great but could have used a break. Lots of options to cover him if needed which is awesome.
-
Shaw looking like Robbie Alomar
-
My take is the guys we gave up were blocked so not much lost and Moose is a vet who if he gets jacked to be in the race can provide a boost. Our lineup just wasn't deep enough with threats. Much better now. Don't be surprised if Shaw gets moved if this weekend is a disaster on D but I think I saw a guy named Rickie Weeks play there and we lived to see the playoffs. I gotta think at least one more move is coming. I am sure Cain back channeled Moose to give him the low down. Props to Shaw for giving up his spot. Says he is a team first guy which is huge. Thames is kinda expendable if you cover first with Moose or Shaw against a tough righty so he could be packaged next.
-
25 from JJ and 22 from Knebel. Fresh arms will be welcomed.
-
Why? The unearned run? Knebel not even to 20 pitches yet. Barring more trouble, he will be available tomorrow. As I said.
-
Nothing ever easy for Knebel. Flip flop him and Soria.
-
I'm guessing Soria is our closer tomorrow.
