villar shd start 5 or 6 times a week...i liked sogard last year but it mite be time to cut him soon. any reason NOT to bring dubon up, except to wait unti l june

are we talking lowrie to replace sogard AND villar or just villar. i am ok with villar this year. i think he will put in a solid season

well guys, virtually all of our starting position players have regressed at the plate except for yelich thames and aguilar (limited AB) so far and we are still 9-9... i see great things for us if the heavy hitters track anywhere near last years numbers...i think thames will hit his dingers but i see some long slumps from him too.if he DOES hit .280 or so look out. this platoon is already working well even with braun starting so slow. aguilar was at .391 the last time i looked but zero homers and zero rbis. we have to remember thames only hit .180 with RISP last year so we need that to reverse this year too -
we have the only 2 full inning closer in baseball. very gritty win for a team struggling to find itself

yelich, braun, thames, vogt, pina, knebel, miley, and of course nelson...thats 30% of our 25 man roster...lets go skysox ...i mean brewers...lol

so far the crowded logjam in the OF has worked. when yelly comes back monfay, braun can go back to first plus get his usual day off or two a week

then is he a brewer for the season....its that or they have to release him later huh....

i think villar is doing great too. ,333 so far..i predict he will hit .275 and get 35 stolen bases and i think its obvious he is wideky regarded as the best 2nd baseman we have...by counsell and the front office anyway...and sogard...hmm... i think he should be DFA, not aguilar..if thames had a season ending injury today, i think aguilar wd respond with similar stats or better

the only one who is getting screwed is santana and that will be rectified if ANY of the outfielders miss 15-20 games due to injury

at this rate, yelich shaw and cain are on pace for over 600 AB and braun thames and santana are on pace for 450 AB ....thats ok but i wd like braun at about 480-500 and santana closer to 520

you guys are right...luke has every right to his feelings towards braun.its a personal choice for all of us. i just choose not to worry about morals and all that bc there is that kind of stuff in all of us, it seems that so many athletes lie about stuff and with cell phones and the internet EVERYONE knows about it 5 minutes later. again i choose to just root for the packers badgers and brewers and let everyone play.... i mean really guys..it literally never ends....we all know what goes on with college recruiting..they get kickbacks, free cars... the qb from florida state rapes a chick or whatever it was and they try to cover it up and 2 years later he is playing in the nfl...steroids have been a huge part of football and baseball for 25 years..they just keep coming up with new ways to mask it...TWO people got caught this year. does anyone believe that only 2 major league players are taking steroids -

there was a sports illustrated poll a few years ago that said 30% of major leaguers admitted anonymously they were juicing. robin yount said a few years ago he wd have found it it incredibly hard NOT to do it if he knew that a huge number of other big leaguers were using steroids. yes ryan braun lied about it. but if i held that against all athletes, i would have to give up watching. i dont blame him one bit for taking the stuff to stay healthy, if i was a pro athlete i would too... its often the difference between being paid well and being being paid vastly well. that wasnt brauns excuse. he already got paid but it usually is -
if knebel ever flames out, this guy has closer stuff ....i think the sky is the limit. he could become a quality starter someday too
