Giants (Wood) vs Brewers (Peralta): 5/26/23, 7:10pm
mtsportsfan replied to Brock Beauchamp's topic in Archived Game Threads
Hopefully the bats can come alive here ! Would like to see a good old fashioned slugfest ! -
Its not like he isn't making good contact , he is ! Just has had some bad luck ! For some reason I'm not a huge fan of his , but I think he deserves more time!

Could Jackson Chourio debut in 2023?
mtsportsfan commented on Steven Ohlrogge's blog entry in Brewers ink Brian Anderson
Would love it , but would rather not rush it . Let him hit triple A first. Don't want to see his confidence ruined if it doesn't go well ! -
Unfortunately I always will ! Thick or thin ! A lot more thin !

You are the GM, how do you right the ship?
mtsportsfan replied to jay87shot's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Whatever they are doing it needs to change ! Nothing in our minors never seems to translate to the majors as far as hitters go . maybe a new voice in the scouts and minor league coaching ! We know we won't spend at the major level , so maybe invest more at the minor level ! -
Talk about punch less . we have 106 xbh this season . Detroit has 109 in two less games ! After that its not even close! Out DH has zero combined HR's . what a pathetic offense!
-
Naturally , this team is so boring right now!
-
Need one more of those
-
There's a start ! Let's go !
-
Not really to hard to believe ! This team just can't hit or at least string anything together lately ! It has to really suck to be a pitcher for the brewers knowing that u have to pitch damned near perfect to get a win !
-
And that's our clean up hitter ! I don't hate Adames , but he struggling hard and not doing the brewers any good , put him in 6 or 7 slot . take some pressure off him , anything please !
-
Same as last year ! Just can't string hits together ! Nothing clutch about this team !
-
Another quality ab by Adames !
-
I was thinking the same earlier he was taking the ball the other way , now it seems he's trying to pull everything !
-
But yet we struggle to score on them ! I hate the cardinals but you have to admire the organization !
-
Absolutely ! But if we had any semblance of a consistent offense we could have been 4-2 ! Its just alarming how weak our hitting is . it is a long season and things can change but we have seen this movie before !
-
Adames weak AB again. Shut out again !
-
Maybe Atlanta knew what the were doing in that trade .
-
Need 8 more Owen Millers !
-
Definitely not , a lot swing and misses and weak contact . doesn't help with these calls though !
-
How in the heck are going to get anything for Adames if he doesn't start hitting ! Trade value keeps going down with each AB !
-
Dillard says he's pumping strikes , my a## getting some help from the ump !
-
Another crap strike ! Yikes
-
Didn't matter , feeble swing by Rowdy !
-
Another outside strike , changes the at bat with crap like that !
