    Just terrible base running ! Can't have that when your offense is so challenged! I suppose our offense is in shut down mode now , they seem to do that after they have leads , must figure they did their job, no need to add on !

    Also , considering the limited budget . I would say that his failure could be that with the new rule changes that we seem to be still stuck with our whole approach at the plate. After watching Arizona , I really admired how they made things happen on offence , putting a lot of pressure on the opposing pitcher and defense ! I kinda thought that's what we would do , but it seems we just hack away no matter the situation .

    Doubt it works , but move some guys in the lineup ! Adames is the guy I'm thinking of moving down . Maybe try a little small ball , I understand that you need to get on to steal a base , more hit and runs , anything but what we are doing now , so boring !

    Frelick is the type of player the team needs , past the point of worrying about power , just give me a few players that can get on base and Frelick fits that mold . Very tired of HR or bust of this organization .

    We're not going anywhere adding just 1 hitter , we need multiple hitters . Don't want to give up that many assets for one guy ! . Gasser looking good as of late , might want to be patient with him .

    I don't care about not hitting HR's, if Frelick can get on base hitting 280 , I'll take it ! Just get me a few guys who can get on base !

    I do , I take the time to visit my dad ! A Korean war veteran. On memorial day ! Its not a celebration ! But it is honoring the people who gave there lives for us ! You know " America's game " And I bet it was , had to be emotional !

    I like Taylor , but man , he just can't be counted on to do anything ! like to replace him but with who ? Maybe when Urias comes back put him at third and Anderson in right .

    And of course they get two out hit ( something we rarely do ) should have not given up a run that inning !

    Not the point , it was about memorial day ! Not Saturday , not Sunday ! Time for everybody to observe it together , everybody should play. Never said it was a disgrace , some or else did although I don't disagree . what I don't care for is the wording of ( no compelling reason ) there are a million reasons and I'm not talking money !

    What do mean " no compelling reason " ! The compelling reason is being on a national stage , observing a moment of silence for the people that died so that u can type away and say stupid things like that. Its a time to be patriotic and wear the red, white and blue ! Hang a american flag on your house ! Every team should play !

    Actually its called canthititis , fairly common issue with most if the line up , his was severe enough to go on the 10day !

    That's why these guys have been so tough to watch , when they get down they just can't string hits together or when they do its with two outs and then can't come up with a clutch hit, it seems we have seen this for the last few years or so . It seems we are back to HR or strike out again thought we would see less of that this year .

    And that's a problem , Good enough to win a crappy division but not good enough to win a payoff series . not that I want us to lose but sometimes you need to admit your not good enough and its time to re tool . we just need Burnes to pitch better so we can get more for him, same with Adames !
