    to gbpacker40 - I'm guessing he selects one type of beer to drink for every game and then if the Brewers win, that beer gets a win, if the brewers lose, that beer gets a loss.

    not trying to start anything... but since when has 6 2/3 innings and 5 earned runs a nice outing? Sure, he did strikeout 8, but I wouldn't call it a nice outing. Lets call it more luck that the brewers bats have blasted the reds pitching than the Brewers pitching doing well.

    Hopefully we seem a better and more exciting performance from Sharpie than we witnessed yesterday out of Vampire(it was night time, where were his wings?). Well, I am almost positive that proxies aren't illegal, but they probably do go against the user agreement. Anyways, if you want to try one... an easy one to use is: kub.kz/kubar.htm just type mlb.com in the field that is to the left of the "go" button and to the right of the thing that says Kubar at the top of the page. I don't have mlb.tv so I have no idea if this will work.

    The Braves really aren't that far ahead of anybody. They are 9 games over .500. How long can Andruw Jones really hold this team up? I doubt the Brewers will make much of a run for the wild card, but who knows, crazier things have happened. If I had a choice to see the Cubs or the Braves in the wild card, I would definately choose the Braves.

    I have been feeling that way for a couple of weeks now. I would love to see Krynzel turn it around soon and I keep waiting for the day to come. I've also noticed Gwynn has hit a bit of a slump also.

    Frustrating game so far. At least Botallico got through the inning with no worries. Maybe scouts will be looking at him closer. I'm giving this one to Yost. I hate seeing him not sticking up for Hall, and now the Prince thing.

    What else could Wes Helms have done? The ump woulda called it a strike anyways. Is anyone else a little tired of calm Ned? He never seems to back up his players. Is Fielder still up here? I haven't heard if he's been sent down yet. If he's still here, it would have been nice to see him pinch hit instead of Durrington..

    Ya, i noticed the ben sheets/bill hall moment. Did anyone else also see the game where Ben Sheets was cutting his arm hair with scissors and then noticed the cameras were on him so he pretended to slit his throat and wrists?

    i still think both plays were pretty horrible. The first one might have been a little more difficult, but when you get the announcers(who might be the worst I have ever heard) to agree that it should have been an error, I think it should have been. He didnt really even dive for the ball... he got down on his knees and stuck his glove out, and the ball hit his glove.

    "one inning or 25 pitches" does that mean that after one inning, even if he throws only 3 pitches, he'll be taken out?
