Not the best start for Gallardo. Nix seems to be jumping out of the gate on his rehab assignment. If Hart needs to go on the DL for his wrist, would Nix be a possibility?
That is true. But all I can say is that this is a very, very, very different team. But at the same time... you can't win them all, and the Pirates are still a major league team.
I dont know if this is encouraging or what. CS: McEwing (3, 2nd base by Hendrickson/Rottino, V), Rodriguez, M 2 (5, 2nd base by Hendrickson/Rottino, V, 2nd base by Hendrickson/Rottino, V). And yes, Rottino is catching. Maybe Hendrickson is just that quick to the plate?
It looks like they changed Rogers line. Before it had said 8 IP, now it says 7 IP, no ER, and instead Bo Hall came in for the 8th and gave up the 3 ER. Good news for Rogers if its true.
Anyone heard anything about "Little Unit". I believe the brewers picked him up last year after he had been having injuries with other teams. I'm not positive, but I believe his last name was Anderson. I wasn't able to find anything on him this year in the brewers organization, or maybe i'm just blind.

Also, anyone know if prince is playing for sure? Actually... now that I think about it, the lineups aren't out yet. Edit: Looked at the rotation and it seems like it's Davis, unless they did a flip-flop... Davis pitched on the 4th, while Bush on the 3rd.
Tonight has been the first off-day where I'm glad there isn't a Brewer game. They just have been beat-up with injuries and poor timely hitting as of late. Maddux is pitching again tonight, going for his 6th. I can't imagine he'll be as great as his first 5 wins, but who knows... The Padres haven't shown the greatest run production in the past few days.
