  1. I am pretty up in the air about him. For most of Stearns tenure the Brewers have been average to poor offensively so I'm not sure one year is enough to fix that. But.....unless significant changes are made to how they draft and develop hitters his stay will be short.
  2. Until the organization gets their crap together at the top I'm not sure I want them buying or selling. If they trade away Burnes and get crap in return because they cant judge or develop hitting then whats the point. But then again if they hang onto him and get nothing that's bad as well. It's kind of a no win scenario right now with offensive ineptitude at the helm of the franchise.
  3. I would say up until recently the bullpen has been one of the strengths of the team. No way you can say that about the offense. Defense has felt pretty average most of the season. Not great but not terrible.
  4. And that's the swing that's going to make it a short stay.
  5. It irks me to no end that that was not addressed in the minors.
  6. Really not a great time to lose 5 out of six and four in a row.
  7. I agree. I think they're starting to show the workload.
  8. This is shaping up to be a team loss. Failing in all three phases of the game.
  9. This would be a really bad time for an extended losing streak.
  10. To be fair we picked up back to back 0-2 hits in the top of the inning but then did nothing with them.
  11. It's like dating a women who is a great cook but has zero sex drive.
  12. Peguero should be glad that ball wasn't 20 rows deep. That was a freaking terrible slider.
  13. He's kind of collapsing on pitches down and in ever since he hit the home run off of one down and in
  14. There should be a warning for every kid watching. Under no circumstances emulate Wiemers set up and stance.
  15. That's 2 weeks of normal production for the crew.
  16. It's a run but that pitch to Yelich was screaming hit me the whole way in. Right down the chute.
  17. Hmm... So the next thing we'll see is a called third strike followed by gunfire and "your terminated"
  18. I think the braves are getting tired from running around the bases for 3 days.
  19. Would love to know how most big league teams handle oversight of hitting from the top down. For instance does Sietzer are only work with the big league club or does he oversee the development of the guys in the minors as well. Obviously he can't be there for a day-to-day instruction but does he dictate how things are done all the way down to the rookie ball level?
  20. Kevin seitzer is probably the best hitting coach in baseball right now. I was looking back through the numbers all the way to when he was with the Diamondbacks and everywhere he goes hitters get better.
