    Trivia question that I don't have the answer for. Name the last Brewer hitter that was drafted by the team and came up tru the minors to have an at bat in an MLB All-Star game? Lo Cain doesn't count.

    While I'm happy they didn't get embarrassed i don't feel much if any better about their chances of scoring runs in playoff games and teams like the braves are going to score some from against pretty much anyone we trot out there.

    I'm a big mechanics guy and did quite a bit of hitting coaching at the youth and high school levels and sometimes Major League guys get away with less than ideal mechanics because of superior hand eye coordination but most of the really elite hitters have solid footwork and don't have a thousand things moving at time of launch.

    Of all the young guys I've seen come up lately at first glance Frelich has the best mechanics and it's not close.

    I really think they need top down changes in all things hitting.
