Will be interesting to see if fickell is able to keep our better players.

Would it suck....yes. But he is not exactly once in a generation talent. Good college player but not a sure fire top 10 draft pick.

The one thing in Fickells favor would be he would probably be able to bring in more immediate portal talent than JL.

So much of college football offense is having play makers that can turn 5 yard gains into touchdowns and right now the Badgers don't have any. Even when Allen was healthy he is not going to routinely make 30 yard house calls like JT did. Until they get some difference makers on offense it's going to be a struggle.

This is Cundiffs second major injury and I'm a little worried that might be more than he can come back from. I did hear they were high on Cam Large but I didn't really know anything about him.

The next two seasons will probably be lean ones. Unless they hit the portal lottery its going to take that long to turn around the recruiting and I expect JL to take some lumps learning the job, It's really hard to see this first recruiting class being particularly strong. Have to hope they are able to find some hidden 2 and 3 star gems.

They need to be targeting a lot of things in the portal. QB obviously but they really have to find a tight end as well.

Flopping or not he was pretty good at moving his feet and anticipating to get into position to make it a tough call for the ref.

If they hadn't tagged Wisconsin for two flops during the game I wouldn't have Sqaucked one bit. But because it was a close game and it was Kansas and they swallow their whistle there. And the one that they tagged Wisconsin on was actually a foul on a three-point shot.

Heck of a second half. If they're going to call flop technicals then it can't be only on non Blue blood teams.
