  1. Boy that's maddening. Trailing 4-1 in the bottom of the 7th, Biloxi had a great chance for a big inning, getting 2 walks, 3 singles and no outs by batters. However, 3 outs on a basepaths (caught stealing third, picked off, out at home) limited them to 1 run. They still trail 4-2.
  2. 23-year old RHP Braylon Owens makes his first Minor League start, 5 days after a terrific relief debut (4.1 IP, 0 R, 8 Ks in 79 pitches), as the High-A Timber Rattlers look to finish off a doubleheader sweep and 5-1 series win at Quad Cities. C Marco Dinges and SS Daniel Guilarte enter the lineup for this Game 2. 1 - Ragsdale - CF 2 - Dinges - C 3 - Fischer - DH 4 - Bitonti - 1B 5 - Dickinson - 2B 6 - Castillo - RF 7 - Baez - 3B 8 - Hall - LF 9 - Guilarte - SS X - Owens - P
  3. Wisconsin wins 5-3 in Game 1, clinching a series victory as well. Yorman Galindez covered the final 2 innings, allowing a 2-out, 2-strike solo homer in that final frame. Braylon Owens is expected to start the second game in a bit.
  4. Wilson’s getting crushed 8-0 in the 4th inning. We’ve got no hits, but we do have 4 errors. Not likely to be a fun bus ride back from Salem. Carlos Carra conceded 4 runs (3 earned) in 3 innings, while Andrew Healy is trying to handle the 4th inning.
  5. After scoring no runs on 2 hits thru 6 innings, the Sounds are in business in the top of the 7th, trailing 3-0. Leadoff walk for Jones, hard hit single the other way for Leonard. Nobody out. Hurtubise, Zamora and Jett to follow.
  6. Yerlin walked 2 batters to open the 5th inning, adding an errant pickoff throw and wild pitch to the mix to excite the Quad Cities crowd, but buckled down to deliver 3 straight swinging strikeouts (including big bat Blake Mitchell) to strand both baserunners in scoring position. 5-2 Wisconsin leads as they head to the 6th inning (scheduled to play 7).
  7. Wisconsin is out-hitting Quad Cities 10-1 and leads 5-2 entering the bottom of the 5th inning. Wande Torres tossed 71 pitches on 4 days rest, covering 3.2 innings. Yerlin Rodriguez got the final out of the 4th inning (after a walk) and remains in for the 5th.
  8. It took Carlos Rodriguez 82 pitches to get through 3.2 innings, but there’s progress as the only run conceded was a leadoff homer in the bottom of the first inning. Nashville trails 1-0, now in the 5th inning.
  9. 19-year old RHP Carlos Carra threw 69 pitches in a rough relief outing on Tuesday (1.2 IP, 9 R (5 ER), 2 Ks) and now makes his first start of 2026. Low-A Wilson trails their series at Salem 4 games to 1. RF Handelfry Encarnacion’s .701 OPS (in 38 PAs) leads the lineup.
  10. 23-year old RHP Jaron DeBerry starts on 4 days’ rest (76 pitches on Tuesday: 5 IP, 0 R, 7 Ks), aiming to help AA Biloxi polish off a 5-1 home series win over Pensacola. DH/1B Blake Burke leads the team in homers (6), RBIs (9), total bases (29) and runs (10).
  11. LHP Wande Torres makes his first career High-A start (2nd appearance) as Wisconsin aims to clinch a 4-1 series win at Quad Cities in Game 1 of today’s doubleheader. 19-year old SS Luis Pena is off to a solid start in 2026 (5-for-13, 6 walks, 4 SB).
  12. The battery of RHP Carlos Rodriguez and C Jeferson Quero get a second chance in Gwinnett after a rough Tuesday effort (3.1 IP, 4 R, 6 Ks for C-Rod; 10 stolen bases for the Stripers). AAA Nashville has lost 4 of 5 games in the series. CF Luis Lara’s .975 OPS (in 53 PAs) leads the lineup.
  13. The AA Shuckers get a second chance to clinch a home series win over Pensacola, with 24-year old RHP Tyson Hardin seeking a bounce-back outing (3 IP, 5 R, 5 Ks). 18-year old SS Jesus Made has 12 hits (.375 AVG) in just 7 games played in 2026.
  14. 20-year old RHP Jarrette Bonet turned heads in his Minor League debut (2 IP, 1 R, 5 Ks) and Low-A Wilson need him to help halt their 4-game losing skid at Salem. 2B Juan Ortuno is the only hitter in the lineup with an average north of .200 through 7 games on the young season.
  15. 21-year old LHP Wande Torres makes his first-ever High-A start (2nd appearance; 2.1 IP, 1 R, 3 Ks in first outing) as Wisconsin aims to clinch a 4-1 series win at Quad Cities. 19-year old DH/INF Luis Pena is off to a solid start in 2026 (5-for-13, 6 walks, 4 SB).
  16. The AAA Sounds look to 25-year old LHP Tate Kuehner (9.2 IP, 6 R, 9 Ks thru 2 starts) to help lead them back from a 3-1 series deficit at Gwinnett. RF Greg Jones has 5 hits over his past 2 games and an 11-game on-base streak.
  17. 20-year old RHP Bryce Meccage and High-A Wisconsin are aiming to take a 3-1 series lead at Quad Cities. C Marco Dinges can push his hitting streak to 5 games to open the season.
  18. Can 1B Blake Burke make it 7 homers in 7 games played? AA Biloxi can clinch a home series win over Pensacola with a victory tonight behind 21-year old RHP Bishop Letson, who’s making his second start of 2026.
  19. 19-year old LHP Enderson Mercado makes his first start of 2026 (second appearance), as Low-A Wilson seeks a win to avoid a 4th straight defeat at Salem. Juan Ortuno (5-for-16, 4 walks) gets his first start at shortstop of 2026, after 4 starts at second base.
